Do you think it will be 1 track in October and 1 in December, or will they both release at the same point? If so, this may be a bit extreme but maybe we're getting 4 new tracks total?

Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV update launching in two parts later this year

First details on the new circuits, new cars, Family Mode, and more coming in 2026.

The first new circuit is Sportsland SUGO in Japan, available in October. The circuit is known for its elevation changes, flowing layout, and the familiar Dunlop bridge.

The second is Autumn Ring, a circuit deeply connected to the history of Gran Turismo, first appearing in the original title. I am very pleased to bring this circuit into Gran Turismo 7 as part of the December release and allow millions of players to experience it for the first time.

The concierge service sounds like a way to "schedule" a purchase of a car in LCD or UCD, so you don't have to be there when it comes up in the rotation. I guess it's a way to resolve some of the FOMO. Kinda funny how they keep stripping all the dumb roadblocks for car purchases they introduced at launch. First the invites, now this. Not that I'm complaining.

Interesting to get the Mugen Civic. It’ll be the first official Group A car added to the game. Ironic since Group A is referenced with the Group A homologated road car collection.

I’m probably more happy about the wheels that come with it and making replica liveries of the other teams of the era. That Starion would be so right at the end of the year.


When the clip goes to the Porsche. Is that an optional showroom or just an updated brighter showroom?

Thanks to all the users of microtransactions and PS-Plus subscribers for paying for that long time support. Wouldn't consider both atm but i guess it helps a lot.

PS Plus goes to Sony itself, so wouldn't really do much for GT development specifically.
And I doubt the microtransactions brought in particularly much for GT.

I assume the Car Concierge feature will probably be a way to "order" cars that are usually available in the Legend Cars dealership, so you don't have to wait for them to appear.

The cars will apparently take some time to build but at least the players are assured of getting their ordered cars. I also expect an extra cost for doing so.
 
By the way they should increase the garage limit. I'm sitting at 1700 cars and I still want to collect all colors and many swap and stock builds. It might run out of space fast. Update it to 5000 please.

I know but Polyphony is very Sony exclusive and they absolutely know and sure have the numbers to back up that there are a lot of people out there who have PS Plus solely for the purpose of GT online racing.

I myself would never consider it but it seems there are some real whales out there.
 
I didn’t think Shuffle Racing would actually return. I might decide to play online now because I’m sure it will be both chaotic and fun. Also the E60 M5 was a long time coming.

I can only guess three of the next six will be Super GT cars. The xsix cars could be anything. I really have no idea what to expect.

Honestly phenomenal set of changes. First update that you can feel that there's an understanding and appreciation of why people loved the older games too. Moving forward is always good but whilst the game celebrates the past of car culture, the game never stopped much to appreciate it's own past.

It feels like they did here and damn you can immediately see it pays off.

Basically online racing where instead of choosing your own car, you get a car randomly selected from a small group of similarly paced cars. So you don't get everyone driving the popular cars, but get a nicely varied field.
It's a nice way to try some different cars, and forces you to adapt to cars you're less familiar with.
It was a lot of fun back in the day with some of the slower classes.
