New welcome page and I suppose temporarily with the Japanese cover of the first Gran Turismo celebrating the anniversary

BMW M5(datamine)
Mugen Civic
Honda Stepwagn
Mazda RX-V GT3 Evo
Citroen 2CV
Xiaomi Vision GT.

I can only guess three of the next six will be Super GT cars. The xsix cars could be anything. I really have no idea what to expect.

Wonder how PD reinterpret the larger layout of Autumn Ring.
May be :

Mazda Roadster RF VS '18
Lexus Sport Concept '25

There's a new "Car viewer" option on the garage screen they helpfully hid behind the subtitles.

It looks roughly to be the VR Showroom option, just... not in VR.
I am probably most excited about this and the Concierge service after watching. There are times where I just like to have the cars rotating in the garage to just look at. I am interested also to see what the other cars are going to be.

Honestly we sometimes stick the garage scene/scapes scenes on to have something on the screen when doing something else. Especially at christmas, we just let GT7 provide us with christmas music

The track was opened in 1975 and is one of the largest motorsports facilities in Japan, with a total area of 2.1 million m². It offers four specialized race courses - a road racing course, a motocross course, a trials course, and a go-kart course. The track is owned by the Yamaha Motor Company. The total length is 3.704 km (2.302 mi) with the longest straight of 704.5 m (2,311 ft). Width is 10–12.5 m (33–41 ft) and has a total elevation change of 69.83 m (229.1 ft) per lap.

What's interesting is where Autumn Ring will be set in, perhaps Canada?

Every fictional original track has had a defined location, such as:

Deep Forest Raceway (Switzerland)
Grand Valley - Highway 1 (United States)
High Speed Ring (Japan)
Special Stage Route X (United States)
Trial Mountain Circuit (United States)

I like that they're keeping the classic layout of Autumn Ring and then offering a new longer layout, rather than just lengthening the original one so it doesn't feel like the classic track anymore. I wish that's what they'd done with the other classic tracks.

Sugo is a decent addition, I enjoy that track in other games.

Thanks to all the users of microtransactions and PS-Plus subscribers for paying for that long time support. Wouldn't consider both atm but i guess it helps a lot.
You don’t really know. I wouldn’t talk so bad about users of ps+.
This franchise is a highly important one for Sony and Kaz definitely will enjoy some benefits and freedom as such a long term member of the Sony Games family. Furthermore playtime of games is getting more and more important for game companies and their brands. GT7 will be definitely one of the most played service games on PS4 and Ps5.

For anyone interested about the Stepwgn, it doesn't seem to be the Hybrid version (thankfully), but it does still have a CVT.

However, from what I know it does have a manual mode, similar to the RAV4 we have in GT7. So it could be quite fun, especially if t has decent upgrades.

Awesome news, game owes us nothing at this point yet more content keeps getting made. Maybe GT8 will be in a few years time.
Shame the rest of the event is slop aimed at kids apart from Metro. I take it Sony is doubling down on the digital only model as well

The model depicted is the Spada Premium Line, as the badging implies.

ZOMGWTFBBQ!!!

This is so glorious my productivity suffered a hit . . . followed by an enthusiastic bump up! So many things to be happy about . . .

ooOOOOoooo . . . new tracks are always welcome! And Autumn Ring in at least two layouts is great! Looking forward to the other six cars that weren't shown.

And . . . and . . . shuffle mode too? More tasty games to play!

Can we talk about family mode??? This may be the best thing going that nobody's talking about. Depending on how this works out when released, here's a wonderful scenario:

I log in from Dr. Mrs. PS5 upstairs. Teenager logs in from my VR setup downstairs.

We practice with me talking to teenager over the phone/whatever chat service. A great way to get someone's feet wet for driving an actual car before driving instruction begins.

Or . . .

Argument w/ Dr. Mrs? To quote Tej from 2Fast2Furious . . . we settle this on the blacktop!

All kidding aside, I don't think folks on the forums think about this kind of thing enough . . . especially the first example.

This game keeps on giving and I love it.
