For anyone that cares the F355's curb weight in game is wrong. It's the dry weight, i.e. not a real functional curb weight. The vehicle's true functional weight is about 225 lb higher, 3200 lb (or 1450 kg). Incredibly annoying that PD cannot be accurate or consistent with this.

Coincidentally, the F355 street car's dry weight is more or less exactly what the Challenge car's weight comes in at, so no weight reduction needed when "building" that spec racer.

That's a Ferrari thing and doesn't apply to the F355 only. Most, if not all Ferraris in GT7 use the dry weight instead of the kerb weight.

So it may have to do with the manufacturer. If I recall correctly, all McLarens in GT7 also use the dry weight, for example.

Autumn Ring is pretty much going to complete that Nineties feel of the game.
There's that one track which has always been present in the numbered GT titles and will complete the 90's feelings.

SSR5... Having it added to GT7 would be amazing but thats just me 😅

Autumn Ring is pretty much going to complete that Nineties feel of the game. Having most of the original cars(give or take a few years) in the game right now is so good to replicate in Custom Races.
TVR and Aston Martin just need a couple older models and we need a few more JDM saloons, but the nostalgia is strong this year. Cant wait to see what’s to come in December and beyond.
Fair but for me, I need the Buick GNX, that old Mitsubishi that was in GT4 (I believe) and Cragar wheels (GT2).

Ferrari "thing"? Which means what, Ferrari refused to allow their cars in the game unless GT7 used the dry weight? Seems unlikely. Also I believe there actually are a few Ferraris in the game with their correct weights. As to McLarens, I haven't checked them all but the McLaren F1's is correct. So is the 650S's weight.

There certainly are other cars in the game guilty of this. C8 Corvette immediately comes to mind.

No? What I meant was that it's "normal" for Ferraris in GT7 to simply use dry weight instead of kerb weight. I would assume they get the specs for each car from the manufacturers themselves (most reliable source, right?), but that is just an assumption.

Just to fact check myself, I went ahead and checked via the Ferrari website, and out of the 28 Ferraris, only 3 use kerb weight: the 458 Italia, F430 and 430 Scuderia.

As for the McLarens, I looked it up and had 2 sources that said the F1 was 1140kg dry weight, while 2 other said it was the kerb weight instead. McLaren's website didn't have the specs, so hard to say. :boggled:
But the 650S's weight in GT7 is the dry weight. Same for the MP4-12C.

Anyways, we are getting off-topic...
