Autumn Ring is pretty much going to complete that Nineties feel of the game. Having most of the original cars(give or take a few years) in the game right now is so good to replicate in Custom Races.
TVR and Aston Martin just need a couple older models and we need a few more JDM saloons, but the nostalgia is strong this year. Cant wait to see what’s to come in December and beyond.

100%! Takes me right back to my childhood / teenage years.

I'm grateful for a new circuit, and I know I'm probably in the minority for this but I'd much prefer more original tracks, especially older tracks. Sugo is great to drive but environmentally it's so boring, as most real life circuits are. I'm so happy to see Autumn Ring return given how pretty Trial Mountain and Deep Forest look.

Last night I spent 100 miles driving on the new stuff. Mostly completing the new Sugo circuit challenge.
Man I love that track!! It's so rewarding when you hook it all up. The final uphill bend is a beauty!
It reminds me of Road Atlanta, which personally is a good thing.
The new Fezza is a sideways rip monster and I was grinning like a sociopath all the time I drove it 😂
Bravo PeeDee!! Excellent part 1 Spec 4 action!

27 years ago I was thinking F355 Challenge in the arcade was the best thing ever.

Now I'm thinking DIY F355 Challenge in GT7 is the best thing ever.
I still have F355 Challenge on an ancient Dreamcast in my basement. I played it about 2 years ago.

I have to say, modern VR enabled GT7 is better in every way 😁 but the nostalgia trip was high.

All we need now is a properly loose chase cam :D

Connected yesterday to try the new update and order the last car I was missing and it was in the Legendary dealership so I didnt even had to use the concierge. Other than that, PD still a bit cheap with the reward. The new experience give you peanuts. The Xiaomi in the experience on the tire it's on is not fun to drive for me, more like a hassle. Sugo is super fun, it was already one of my favorite track on Best Motoring and having it on GT7 is a nice addition. Havent really tried the new car yet. Just did a quick drive on Sugo on my R32 GT-R.

I hope GT8 focuses on adding city tracks. Opera and Rome etc were such great variety previously. They'd look terrific on a PS5 exclusive game. The PS4 support is holding back GT7 massively.

Most GT7 players very much want Silverstone & Monaco
difficult to get tracks in GT7 or other games because political laws & rules.
Have you got a source for 50%+ GT7 players wanting those two circuits, and have you got a source for tracks being "difficult to get" due to "political laws & rules"?

I do have a source - but I can't tell you what, why, or who, 'cos journalism, so you may ignore this if you wish - for the fact that Silverstone is incredibly expensive to licence, and that's why it's in PMR unlicensed as "Northampton" and only in F1 games (as far as I understand it) because of the race event's contract with the sport.

I'm not sure what "political laws & rules" would obstruct a track's appearance anywhere outside of a dictatorship.

The Vintage feature in dealership was what Legend Cars in GT4 was, right? The actual GT4 feature returning.

Not so sure. They could, of course, but PD would have to upgrade their engine and improve the quality of their track assets.

Idea for dlc: add singleplayer campaign from gt1/gt2 to gt7

I found an incredibly minor bug with this update 😅

The new "your recommendations" screen can show recommended cars. For me it's showing the Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Concept, with a not that I don't own it. Thing is, I do own it, I own every car in the game.
If I use the button to go to brand central to buy it, it also shows as "not aqcuired" there. But if I then select back, and click the car again, it does show as aqcuired.

Edit: Added video
Also note how it shows as the Nismo GT3 despite being the Mazda

Autunm Ring, specially the short track, will for sure bring back memories.

But all I want is Apricott Hill.

This may well have been covered but it is absolute classic terrible GT menu design that you have to go into each manufacturer and car individually to then select it for the concierge, rather than through the concierge button when you first enter Brand Central. Or at least, that going straight into it doesn't tell you how to use it.

I’ve got the same issue, I gather you have every car in your collection as well? I think this is what’s causing a bug as it wants to recommend a car to buy

Yeah that's what I'm guessing as well. It's also weird that it's showing the name as the GTR Nismo GT3 after selecting it.

An update to this. Somehow I missed that TVR also has a "Channel" section on their Brand Central page, not just a Museum section.

From what I can tell, the only other brand added to Brand Central that has a Channel section, is Shelby.
  • Jeep: Museum added.
  • Shelby: Channel added.
  • TVR: Museum and Channel added.
  • All others only feature their "Vintage" page.
Interesting stuff. There's also a bit of precedence for cars that are featured in Channel videos making their way to the game as playable cars eventually, so the fact that TVR has received such love & the new Griffith features in 3 videos is making me optimistic.

They also gave the brand a tagline/slogan, which is a pretty rare addition.

More TVR's please

  • The Xiaomi VGT feels less comfortable to drive than the SU7 ultra which tells a lot.
  • I still think the Mazda GT3 Evo is a pointless addition and expanding on parts available for the car would have been a better solution. I guess it has more to do with Mazda's intentions than PD's.
  • The Honda Step WGN Spada could have remained a mere novelty if they didn't go that hard with tuning and swap options. I had a good laugh when I discovered what they’d cooked up for us.
  • I'm not one of those unconditional fan of the Ferrari F355, to me this is just a Ferrari. A very good car though, it doesn’t let itself be driven all that easily and that engine sounds really good.
  • The Civic is as expected a funny and clanky little race car, very responsive. It brings back many good memories and its return is welcomed.
  • I didn't expect the Citroen 2CV to be THAT good. Probably the best handling FF car you could make into a race car in the whole game. Once all the parts are installed and the engine has been replaced (without increasing its power, 201hp are enough), it completely destroys the Civic Group A, without even breaking a sweat.

As I said earlier, the new Vintage and Concierge features are neat additions especially if you are new to GT7 or you are lacking some cars here and there. But for us that play since day one, not that much. We've been waiting waaaaay too much for something like this.
It would have had some use for me though, if only they took some time to resolve some issues they introduced in the Custom Race Mode after the 1.71 update.

Sugo is a great track full of personality, it delivers what a modern F1 track couldn't. I still believe the color palette is a bit too light and the whole thing a bit too clean. It feels perfect under rainy weather though. It also has some framerate drop issues under certain conditions.
That thing should be called The Real Front-Left Eater. lol

Everything else falls flat and quite anecdotal. As good some things may look, the whole thing might not breath novelty on the long run. Waiting for Part II now, and hotfixes for Custom Races and Sophy.

Complex String or we riot.

Legit though Tokyo R246 and Cape Ring would make me incredibly happy

My PS4 has a hundred gigabytes of free space, but can't download this update because of the stupid way it handles installations.

At this rate, GT7 will be the only game I'm able to have installed on the thing.
at least its "only" a space problem, when i used gt sport in my ps4 (of 1st gen) apart of the sound of a jet plane on a liftoff it lagged a lot when i touched the kerb of the first corner of mt panorama xD

Haven't done too much yet but the concierge feature is pretty pointless with how long the wait times are. Given you already have to pay extra I don't get why it can take multiple days to get a cheap common used car with standard mileage. The more expensive stuff with low mileage can take up to 2 weeks, it's like they don't want you to play the game. At least in the old GT games you could just cycle through days to get the cars to show up again, here you're stuck waiting either way which I don't want to do when I have an idea of a car build either for fun or for one of the weekly races.

Sugo is really impressive even though I haven't done many laps, I think the last time I drove it would've been back in like 2010 on rFactor. The other thing I really like is the Step WGN modifications, 3 swaps and a really interesting bodykit means it's going to be fun to modify a few of these.
I think you are completely missing the point about car concierge.
You are trying to force your own idea onto what Kaz has decided what it is...
Resistance is futile, you are just hurting yourself more than necessary.

Car concierge works as designed and intended.

I will let you think about it first before explaining to you.

It may work as they intended but I can still think it's a stupid implementation when they've removed most of the other inconveniences from the game. We've had purchasable engine swaps and special parts along with permanent invites added so why not have the ability to get the car you want when you actually want it? Being able to buy it in a specific colour is only useful for the interior colour, otherwise you'd just repaint it and the mileage means nothing so you can ignore the longer wait times, but the other one is still stupid when you have to wait while paying extra. I don't see what having to wait multiple irl days to get a car adds to the experience other than making people just play something else.

I miss the real Grand Valley though. 🥲

Because that's literally not how concierge services work. You pay and then you trust that the person paid delivers the goods in a contracted time.

If you want something insanely specific time is your biggest cost and the game is reflecting that. If you don't like it don't use it.
