Is there anyone here make a proper livery of BPR Igol F40 yet? That's my piece of childhood thrashing that thing back in the day when I enjoyed Sega arcade "Scud Race" (Super GT in North America)

Now that's what I'm talking about! All of them were fine. Also, there is actually two versions of Igol livery, one used in BPR Series (later changed to FIA GT) the other used in Le Mans. Unfortunately the version I looking for which is the BPR is not there. They were all Le Mans livery. But it is okay nonetheless 👍 Nice find!

There is also another version too from 1996 BPR Monza 4 Hours race (just like the one I posted earlier) :

Long shot I know, but is there anyway to place your own windscreen banners instead of the standard Gran Turismo ones? (And I don't mean leave window blank, place on the edge of the roofline as I have seen crudely done!)

No. There is a British GP window banner that someone made, you can place that above the windscreen and edit it to say what you like, but you can't add anything to the windscreen its self.
 
Ok thanks. Won't resort to the roof - as that's not the window!

Would be nice if PD gave us an option to do just that, I can't figure out why it isn't as individual banners are a very distinct way of marking out team mates matching cars for example. And not to mention that not every race car wears a Gran Turismo banner!

@bdj57 , I will very much like to do the project for you as a request. I have found all the logos needed to make this livery:). Most important!, which version do you want?. I have spotted three versions, #27, #28, #44. Give me some time, then send me your PSN ID in a pm message, then we can also corespond in game, and here in gtplanet. It's a awesome livery. :)👍

I don't think it looks that bad to be honest

That's my first crack at a replica livery, the yellow banner is clearly visible (although not great at his angle)

And then that's with it edited and colour matched to be black with the AMG logo... not ideal, but you can make it work and look pretty good I think
 
Yeah, not what I'm looking for but thanks anyway. Would be impossible to make an exact replica that has a detailed roof. Nope, this needs implementing in the editor and I can't see a reason why it shouldn't be added.

Btw, would be nice if you want to create the BPR versions (#27 and #28) and simply share them here! :D Otherwise it is fine if you won't because I'm not going to forced you to create the livery anyway. 👍

I'm working on the BPR IGOL #28 right now @bdj57 :). Okay you want both, no problem. No I don't mind doing them at all :). It's nice with a project like this though. I will post it in here when I'm done, along with the link. Cheers mate!
