Uh I'm having no luck registering. The registering form is 2/3 off my screen and there's no scroll bars so I can see it... WTF
Oh man I can't wait to get GTAIV!
I am going to kill everyone!
(And maybe do a mission.)

I register fine via Firefox, but if you can't get IE or Firefox to work with the site, then download and install Opera and try it (http://www.opera.com/). Even if you never need it again, it can be handy to have a few browsers installed, just for those few sites that misbehave. No it needs adobe flash player apparently.
Check out this screenshot.
*snip*
You can see a body wedged between the two vehicles, ouch.
Here is a much larger version of that picture
So many people are commenting on how great the damage is and even comparing it to Burnout. Am I the only one totally unimpressed with the damage? There is hardly any, just broken glass and a open door, the car has hardly crumpled at all. Much less than I was hoping for when hitting a truck at speed.
You can't really tell just by looking at a screen shot. This could be the split second the truck and car actually collide with each other, before all the crumpling will take place. Just that fraction of a sec right before the total carnage. Will figure all that out when i get my copy going in my system.
I came across this news about GTA:IV completely by accident.
Apparently Ricky Gervais has a small role and can be seen performing in a comedy club in the game.

Well maybe (I am doubtful) but the point is lots of people (on other GTA forums) point at this picture and rave on how great that damage is.

Watch trailer 3 when the semi hits the cop car. There's a huge crumple in the middle of the cop car. It's not Burnout damage, but it is mighty damn fine, imo. 👍
I really can't see the fuss over a 5 minute install. If the 360 had an option to install I would definitely do it.
gamerevolver.comWhen popping the disc into the PS3 for the first time, you’ll have a brief installation. Don’t worry, it only takes ten minutes or so, and there’s a pleasant bit of GTA history trivia to keep you occupied. So, unlike with Devil May Cry, you’ll be able to eat your sandwich prior to playing the game. On the 360, this installation is optional if you have a hard drive. I advise to proceed with installation—it reduces the already minimal frame rate issues on the 360. When the game finally begins, you’ll be treated to the best opening credit sequence I’ve seen for a game in a long, long time.
