@Christhedude: Which country youre in?

Made 2 video's:
A assignment ... *spoiler in the first one*

A drive through the city

boy is this game FUN!!!! classic gameplay with interesting missions and characters.....regardless of which version you have, you must admit that it is very hard to put the controller down!!

I'm getting it tonight, the tension is killing me, because I won't be able to play it much until the weekend. :nervous:

sometimes it's the little things, I was driving through town in a beater muscle car (allegro or something like that) and I stopped behind a trash truck, sure enough, one of the guys on the back of the truck got off and started gathering trash!

The Stallion is still a b***h to handle.

Yep, it's GTA alright :)

I love it how all the cars handle so much differently now. The physics are awesome, i mean its no PC sim, but id say its higher quality than pure racing games like NFS and such. Its just brilliant. So many small things add up to be such a wonderful package.. i can see me playing this more than the 350 - 400 hours i played SA over the years.

I've never heard of a game with this much Russian music in it. It's actually sort of funny, since I don't normally associate that type of music with gaming.

Well, I have GTAIV in both 360 and PS3 flavours. My preferred choice? The 360 version.
The problem with the PS3 game is that it has more jaggies and an unpleasant blur, like vaseline on a camera lens. The 360 game has some jaggies but nowhere near as bad as the PS3 game and the picture is much sharper.
The PS3 has better audio, with 7.1 support but in terms of visuals the 360 wins.

PS3 version runs on 640p with no AA

After watching KimiFreak's video of the drive through the city... I am jealous of each and every one of you who is playing this. I think it's finally time to move on to the next gen systems... come on tax return!

I picked up mine during lunch hour at Bestbuy and got a free furry dice  I am little shy to hang that thing on my Mazda.

Just been playing 2 hours tonight. Very impressive with all these little details. I saw that trash truck as well and I want to shoot those guys off, too bad I don't have a gun yet. Did anyone try to call 911? You will hear the sirens less than 5 sec. However I really need some time to get used to with the control and I got 3D sickness when I try to find the apartment door  Gotta rest for a bit

Slipztrem: Hope you will get a new console soon

How do you operate the forklift? is it possible? What about connecting a trailer to the semi truck?

I tried to use the forklift but couldnt figure it out at all :(

how is he supposed to buy the game if he can't afford it? i'd like to buy a PS3 but i currently have 40 bucks that's going to be drained into my gas tank should i still buy the PS3?

Note: they also don't have PS3's nearby so i would have to order it online costing yet more.

Urgh, it didn't come today either, along with a few other things. Play is definitely becoming quite unreliable now.

I actually bought GTA:IV in order to save money - it will virtually guarantee that a) I spend less time in the pub b) I go home for lunch more often (and hence not get ripped off by the ridiculous prices at our staff canteen (don't get me started...)) c) my mates are now more likely to come to Glasgow to see me (and play GTA:IV) rather than me having to go through to Edinburgh to see them (and go to the pub and spend loads of money in overpriced Edinburgh bars that think they are London bars)... OK, so it's a £40 initial outlay, but the projected savings for the month of May alone are estimated to be in the £50-£100 range.

You know it makes sense.
