Serious question, what do you want more?

1) Old standard cars from before 2004-2006 turned into premium cars

or

2) Cars that are totally new to the series in full premium spec

...I think I know which one makes more sense.

I think it makes sense to transfer cars from standard to premium, which makes fun to drive and it is not so important how old they are. Look at the Roadster TC, the Nissan R33 GT-R TC or the untuned and w/o setup Caterham with sport soft tires for example!

Right, here we go:

Serious answer, depends on what cars you personally prefer, I'd love to see some iconic and classic cars reappear as Premium.
Making sense has nothing to do with it, why would a new car make more sense than an old car, other than subjective criteria such as liking new cars more than old ones which means it makes more sense to you, not generally.

And since new cars won't be added in significant numbers anyway simply because they are kept for GT6 the only cars which are hopefully added are older cars worth keeping for future GT-games as well.

It is nonsensical to ignore the legends, the classics and the beauties of the past. There is no question. However, like brainfade, I'd like a heft batch of muscle/super cars along with some of the standard gems remastered. You can't have the Ferrari F50 in GT6 without a premium XJ220. How can there be the '09 premium ZR1 Corvette without the first generation Corvette that started it all (also premium)?

And knowing KY, he won't let the true gems slip by. He's too eccentric for that.

You're not seeing the vision of Gran Turismo if you forget the iconic cars, and simply focus on the newest and baddest cars. Hell, I want many more super cars in GT6, but I do realize the future of GT; its wonderful catalog of cars past to present together under one roof.

I REALLY don't wanna start a whole new FGT vs. GT5 here, but that's one clear difference between the two of 'em. Forza has the Gumpert Apollo, Koenigseggs, etc, but GT has the Giulia T22 Carozzata da Zagato, the P330, etc.

I lean a lot more to the super car side, but there are clearly many standard gems. Who doesn't want to mod a XJ220 or a Countach? :) Hopefully, they're premium soon, if not already.

add the 3000GT VR-4 and it is perfect

RUF premium ealership is IMPERATIVE.

Pontiac premium dealership is IMPERATIVE.

Cadillac premium dealership is IMPERATIVE.

Plymouth will be premium thanks to the recent Pebble Beach winner.

Buick could be another premium dealership, but it's not a top pick for me.

I'm sure many group C cars will be made premium as well.

Love all the suggestions! One problem though is that Ruf is licensed to forza so they can't put in any new cars which sucks! R8 LMS 09 is a must for me!

I also wish there were more gt1-2 cars also, that's the aspect of the game that's really lacking in my opinion. Oreca vipers etc would make this a bit better as would the mclaren f1 gtr. More race cars and serious road cars need to be added, not just more boring rubbish!!

Every single car that has an almost identical premium counter-part.

Like the seemingly endless variations of the Miata, RX-7, GT-R, etc.

Since I drive almost exclusively in the cockpit view this would increase the number of useable cars drastically.

Le Mans Prototypes/Group C cars. It's nice to have cockpit views in the open-cockpit Le Mans cars, but it'd be cool to have the lights and gizmos inside light up as darkness falls so premium upgrades for those are the only ones on my list.

At least let standard cars have the brake rotor glow effect, sheesh..

Iconic Cars I feel need to be given more credit - The Golf gave us a craze of hatchbacks, the quattro gave us 4WD, the veyron is basically concorde, and the stratos and e-type just deserve premium for how they look! Would like the Group-C's given some attention like the the 787B, but realistically...GT6!

The funny thing is that the R8 lms/R16 it is a street production car with a few upgrades and no 4wd. It's in the game all they have to do is add the splitter, cage, wing, and turn off awd.

The R8 Grand Am is a highly modified version though to fit the Grand Am rule book.
