edit: Can someone tell me how to change the car that is shown in the RACENET CLUB department?

edit2: In the online races, when you fill up the street hot hatches with AI there is an Alfa Romeo Guilllietta. However you can't choose it in the garage as a car to buy. There is another one as well but I forgot the name....

What's the difference in lap times (in mp) between a stock touring car and the same car fully tuned and upgraded?

Another little thing id like to point out is the Brazil Stock Cars are WAYYYY too fast, they get up to 180+mph in game when in real life they are maxing out at around 165mph. I know its not a sim but that is just way off.
 
Given some of the reactions, I'm seriously tempted to get the game. But how many touring car events are there? That's where the real appeal lies for me, but my last Codemasters game was DIRT 3, and as much as I enjoyed it, I remember being disappointed at the number of rally events when I realised that the stages were just the same pieces of road over and over again.

I'm really hoping there is some kind of lengthy touring car championship, one with a dozen rounds that I could play over and over without getting bored.
 
I think in career its around 10 series, I haven't gone all the way yet so I can't tell you lengths, I did the 2nd Cat C touring car championship and it was 3 round, each with 2 races (qualify for race 1 then reverse grid for race 2) plus a cup event totaling 7 races.

You can do custom cups however but again I haven't had a look at exactly how long you can make these.
 
I think an offline custom cup can be up to 3 races long, but with an awesome track list, I'm sure that great combinations can come from it.

Algarve, Mont-Tremblant, and Spa in V8 Supercars would be fun. Then again, every race I've had so far in V8 Supercars (or Super Utes) has been a damn good time.

Yes it is available offline. Took some screens of the custom cup section. I'm in the middle of a street race season so can't get photos of touring career yet but will grab those for you later.

So as far as touring cars goes, 5 rounds with 2 races per round of up to 20 laps per race (must be able to do 3 but it appeared blacked out, will confirm later), plus qualifying = quite a lengthy season. As Azure Flare said as well, with the number of tracks and combinations of each plus day and night version, you won't get bored in a hurry.

Is the PS store configured to your region? Meaning you have a Welsh PS account and are accessing the local PS store? I couldn't validate any codes before with my Belgian account on the Spanish store, so had to make a spanish account to get the goodies.
 
Access code has been sorted, finally went through, still don't know what was wrong though...
 
I'm getting this game sometime in July. So far, how's the game? Is the career mode long or short and how's online?
 
My copy arrived earlier today and I started off in the Touring cars with the Oakley Chevrolet Cruze. I'm running my G25 and the handling feels a bit more weighty than Grid 2 which makes it a bit more wheel friendly. The physics are nowhere near GT levels and they never will be, but it definitely feels better than Grid 2.

I did the first race at Istanbul on Very Hard and got 5th place, I turned the difficulty down to regular Hard and won the 2nd race. Even on regular Hard difficulty the AI can still put up a fight, especially with the Ravenwest BMWs.

At Sepang Race 1, I spent most of the time fighting with the Kicker Focuses whilst the Ravenwest cars ran away and I came home 4th. Race 2, I led for most of the race after fighting with the Monster Energy Cruze. The Kicker Focus got past me and I pressed home in 2nd place.

For intense racing, Grid:AS is the game to look for.

If I had my way, the McLaren 650S and 650S GT3 (:drool:) would already be in the game. Hop to it Codemasters!
