He didn't mean new tracks, just more current ones. They're not going to give new tracks away for free in this game. Well they'd be silly to do that but this is PD we're talking about, they'll probably add a new track in this free game then expect us to pay for it is as DLC in GT5.

True, but nothing like another shot to try again. USA finalists will get to compete again, and the reason for that is because they expect the participation to quadruple this year, so the chances of us making it again are slim to none. If you make it to the finals again, well you probably deserve to be there even more than you did the last time. :)
 
Well the wway I look at it he's been to the real deal, driving the proper cars and he wasn't good enough. I don't think it'd be fair if he took a place again through his very good GT5 driving but then wasn't up to par again in the real car. I think it'd be much better to let some other people have a go who might not be as fast as him with GT5 but could well be better at the real thing.
 
I guess it depends on the situation. I was sick before I went which prevented me from doing any hard physical stuff and I should have spoken up about another issue which probably led to my elimination. So I surely do want another chance. :)
 
Thanks PD for running this again. I definately agree with one of the posters above; may be time to request a week off work to really dedicate myself to qualifying.... I didn't even apply last year and I regret it everyday. All I want is a shot :)
