What I heard was that the 370 was tradeable but the GT-R was not.

The 370 is definitely send-able, I'd say the GT-R is too, but I haven't tried that one.

If I remember correctly, the Academy GT-R cannot be sold, indicating its "value" is at least 500K, so maybe it's actually more than that, which is a posibility considering you have to get all golds on the S license to acquire it without using a 2009 ticket.

According to myGranTurismo.net, the GT-R SpecV (GT Academy Version) '09 is tradeable.

This is correct, I just checked. I also know you can sell the 370z for about $22k.

Looks like 2009 Bday tickets are going to be the way to get the GTR's... ugh.
