I am buying one of the two cars no matter what as it's one of the best looking cars in the game. Want a chrome GT by Citroën :)

I have a orange chrome concept and a gold chrome race car, I haven't painted my road car yet. I think the Concept is better than the road car, the acceleration and top speed is better. The braking is inferior to the road car, but if you press the reverse and the brake button at the same time, you get huge deceleration nearly on par with an X2010. The handling is terrible with stock tires, but with RS tires, there is awesome grip and great handling.

Just bought the GT by Citroen Concept yesterday and it's a lot faster than the road car. The PP on the Concept is even higher than the Race version. Although it sucks that it runs out of battery quite fast and you can't change the battery.

As the concept is electric is seems more cool. But if your going to use it for races with pits u should prob buy the road car ;)

Have you tried fully upgrading (although Engine Stage 3 may be harmful?)

The Road car is a bit of a surprise packet, considering the cost and the base stats. I've got all three, all good in their own ways.

I do wish the Concept would last more than 10 laps or so on a medium track. I remember being annoyed the XJR-9 got to pass me at Monza while I had to finish the last lap at 80 or whatever you get stuck at.

They must have had a Red Bull KERS system ;-)

Yes, i upgraded the road car and i still think the concept is faster. However, i still like all GT by Citroens.

GT by Citroën Race Car

Appearance:
This car is the definition of aggressive! It just looks fantastic.
The car's interior is inspired by a jet fighter...and man did PD get that part right! The cockpit is truly scary! Unfortunately it's so darn tall, and coupled with the fact that the driver in the car is a bloody midget, you can't really see anything in front of you...Oh, I dunno, such as CORNERS! So bumper cam it is.

Handling:
This is an RR but it handles totally like a 4WD. I think is has to do a lot with the cars weight, it's just sooo heavy. I mean, it's so long that from the hood to the spoiler, the car covers several time-zones!
Because it behaves like a 4WD, it's very forgiving of your mistakes. With a standard RR, a bit too much throttle in a corner will most likely send you in a 'tornado spin'. This however doesn't. You can take almost every corner with the foot all the way down and nothing will go wrong. But this also means there is some understeer; still manageable though.

Power:
This car is just pure weak sauce. Couple that with the huge-a:)s weight, this car is just slow. And this is the reason it's also so controllable in corners, it's just not powerful enough. Take the Zonda R for instance, it's super unforgiving; but it makes up for it in pure raw power!

Sound:
I like my super sports cars to have very high pitch engines. This one sounds like a turbo-charged truck. It has 7 gears, which makes it really uncomfortable to drive, as you're going up and down the gears every few seconds. So it has 7 gears like an F1 car...but it doesn't have the revs. The red-line is at 9,000.

Conclusion:
Really easy to drive. Very forgiving. And looks like a beast. Just don't take up any drag race with it!:sly:

Citroën GT by Citroën Concept '08

Appearance:
Not as scary as the Race Car version, probably because it lacks some of the extra "scary" body panels. As for the interior, I was surprised to find it to be pretty much the exact same as the Race Car (minus the triggers for the rocket launcher and machine guns).💡

Handling:
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. It's still relatively easy to drive, but too much understeer, that makes it uncomfortable in any bend. But lowering the front a bit and fiddling with the other suspension settings helped noticeably, but still not enough to allow the car to turn. I mean, if I were to start turning from the time I start writing this post; by the time I've finished, the GT Concept wouldn't have even turned halfway. It's like driving a boat on wheels. Increasing camber angle would solve it, but that would have been an extra 20,000 credits out of my virtual wallet. So excuse me for being cheap after having spent Cr. 2,000,000 on the 'French Titanic' :sly:

Power:
The power is definitely there. And with 1 gear all you just feel is constant acceleration. It's somewhat addicting. And it definitely does not feel like an Automatic; where there would be a power cut off between gears. But not here!
The big problem is that you need to break from time to time, and whereas with a regular 5/6/7 speed gearbox you use the engine to slow down, here you don't have that. But you must be thinking "Well for such an expensive and extravagant supercar, they must have put breaks on-par with the acceleration?" WRONG. This is a French car remember? You're lucky the doors don't fall off as soon as they take your credits. So what this means is that you'll have to break further away than with a 'conventional' car.

Sound:
You know how you drive along, and you're just changing gears and just when the beautiful sound of the high revs kick in, you already have to shift gears again? Well in this, the sound never ends. The tarmac will end long before you get a chance to hear this car in its highest of revs! FANTASTIC SOUND!

Conclusion:
I really enjoy the small touches they added. Like the icon which shows power leaving the battery when accelerating, and going back when you break. On the flip side, it just reminds you how power hungry this car is. After 5 laps I was down to 3/4...I can't imagine how catastrophic it would be to take this car to an Endurance race. I wonder actually if you'll have to sit there 8 hours while the car recharges? I'm actually curious if PD took the time to add some extra animation for electric vehicles pitting for fuel. (Tesla Roadster would be another electric car, just off the top of my head).

You won't ever need to change the Engine Oil, as THERE IS NO ENGINE! So that's a lot of trips to the Repair Service you won't have to make, and a lot of Cr. 50 you can keep in your 'pocket'.

For Cr. 2,000,000 this is a VERY expensive toy to play around with. But the feeling of constant acceleration, the brutal sound of an "engine" with 1 gear and the jet-fighter cockpit make it worth every penny. And other than new Tyres, Roll-cage and better Suspensions, there's nothing left for you to buy. So 2mil and you're ready to race! I say go for it! YOU LIVE ONLY ONCE! :D
