See the title.
PD needs to have a stricter regulation system for the Time Trial seasonals.
RockRoadKidAmen to that, Mac.
I thought I made a pretty good run with my Peugeot 207 GTi and was looking foreward to seeing how I did against the world. Imagine my suprise when I looked at the leaderboard just to see that 149 of the first 157 times (as of yesterday) were set with that non-existant p.o.s.
Oh well, back to the freakin' drawing board.
P.S. My hat is off to the guy in 85th place (again, yesterday) who used a Renault to get his time. HE is a racer. Not so sure about the rest.

I would bet the guys at the top of the timesheets in the Citroen would also be at the top in the Peugeot. Seems like all time trials are dominated at the top by one particular car so I don't have any issues with the use of the Citroen.
You see, that is exactly my issue with this trial. The fact that if you want to compete for a top spot, you MUST use the GT. Nothing else will do. Just once I'd like to look at the top ten of one of these trials and see 3-5 different cars. The way it was done, they might as well just limited it to the GT.
I did enjoy getting gold in my li'l 207, though. So much so that I ignored the leaderboard completely in the 493 hp time trial and got gold in my Hemi Orange '74 Lamborghini Countach, just for kicks.
Also, I shouldn't have made that comment about the guys who chose to drive the GT in the 295 hp trial, and for that I apologize. I'll agree that they are obviously fine drivers and would likely be near the top regardless what they drove.
I still think that the inclusion of the GT for that trial was a mistake, however.
I see your point. I am guessing the new Nurburgring 24 Hour time trial will be the first one to have a fairly diverse list of cars in the top 100 ... even if they will all be race cars in the end.
Afaird not, people had begun figuring out the Peugeot 908 ( or is it 907? Can't remember ) can dominate the track in under 8 minutes. I clocked a nice 9 minute 27 seconds with my unmodded Lotus Evora and it ranked 217th earlier today and now it was in the 1000's when I last checked. I wish Polyphony would make the rating system more diverse since some people have clocked amazing times on certain tracks using a good car with little to no modding only to have someone in a four million dollar car that has been powered down to come and pretty much make said player look like they had just stood still on the track for 8 some minutes.

Perhaps a "rank by car" feature should be added, so at least we could see where we stack up against other people in the same car.
Ooh, rank by car would be cool but make it less competitive because of the amount of possible cars, rank by region would be awesome, that would make it more competitive
