'GT-R Official Record' trophy

So, I want to attemt and get this trophy. Is it hard? Easy? What can I tune to get better traction (torque distribution etc.)? What parts are permitted ( only a oil refresh?)?

You have to do it in arcade mode with the stock vehicle. If you are a good driver it shouldn't be that hard.

I'm pretty sure you can only do it in arcade mode so you can't tune your car.
It was ok for me.

I haven't got it yet, I drive with abs 1 everything else is off except active steering set to strong, looking forward to do it with G27, still in learning from scratch mode with a wheel

But for me it wasn't... Even though I messed up a couple times, I ended up 15 seconds within the time.
So if you can drive through the whole 'Ring without doing any serious mistakes, it's going to be pretty easy to get. Depends on how good you are of course.

And as other have mentioned, you must do it in Arcade mode. Though I would suggest you to use only Skid Recovery Force, and ABS if nessesary... Everything else off.

I hate ASM. As soon as the car slips into the rght direction, ASM steers me where the car doesn't belong. Always off.

Thanks! I'm a pretty good driver and I know the Nürenburgring pretty much by heart, so I'm not expecting any serious challenges.

There should be more trophies or challenges like this on the nurburgring.

Most sportscars get tested there and it would be a good challenge to try and beat all their times for some cash ,xp or even trophies.

Wow, I've heavily underestimated this time trial... It's pretty damn hard! My best time was 1:29.8xx. Damnit. I keep making these small mistakes which make me loose control... Because of those supid SPORTS tires... I mean, who the **** attempts a world record time with a car on the Nürenburgring with tires with .01 grip?

That thread has giving me the urge to do it!
So, I've go to Arcade mode for the first time since the day the game came out, picked up the GTR and said to myself "another easy trophy!"
But in reality, it took me about one and a half hour to do a good enough lap
After numerous red timer, I finally manage a 1:28.xxx time.
Maybe its the stress that go with earning a new trophy ...

👍 this challenge is all about being smooth with the brakes and throttle on corner entry, if your just throwing the car into turns, your going to lose alot of speed. like the above post: consistency and flow

Really? SRF makes it harder in my opinion and any other aids might as well just be ballasts!

I'm rather fond of the track and don't find it difficult at all but even for someone who does I wouldn't recommend driving with aids because the create a false sense of security and people become dependant on them.

It doesn't work like any actual equipment in the real world though, so if you want a realistic driving experience, it should be off.

To get the PSN time trial trophy, it needs to be on. Unless you are truly obsessed with driving stock 2007 Nissan GT-Rs.

Pretty easy, Just relax through the lap and nail every corner. Slow in, Fast out. If you're using a DS3, bump your sensitivity to 7.
For me, it took quite a few tries. I attempted the record back when I was a novice, got an abysmal time of 7:38 or so, so don't despair.
When I did get it, I did a sweet 7:17 with all assists off.

Congrats man. I just got the trophy last night as well as I have been trying all weekend lol. I tried for 3 1/2 hrs on Sat and got 7:29.230.

Then on Sun night after another 2 hrs, I finally got it at 7:27.205. Needless to say I was relieved and happy that monkey is finally off my back. That lap had a rather bad mistake too, so I probably could have gotten 7:25.XXX I imagine. I'm not going back to find out though.

I got a 7:27.496 just now. I felt personally it was better to judge myself vs. a 7:36.921 I put up 1 month ago. I even got confused and thought the record was a 7:27.5xx so I beat my imaginary record too.

At first I made it around in 7'39'xxx. My second attempt I did it in 7'32'xxx, altough I could've made it, but I spun out the last section, before I finally pulled it off at 7'28'xxx. Took me approx. 2 hours of driving. Not going back for another round though.
