can anybody tell me why before every single race i have to put turn down the traction control after it decides to turn itself back up again after each track?

It should be universal for all cars to whatever you set it to and then save your game.

This MIGHT help...

If your in single player mode you need to make sure your game is saved (usually done by exiting single player mode) or by hitting the manual save at the top right of the main menu.

If you make the change in single player mode then shut down the change will not be saved.

this much i know but if i do a race and then go and move onto another track the traction controll will move itself back up to 10

Is the car in question saved in your favorites (hit triangle to add it)?

I figured it out.

Change the TCS Setting from the main menu car selection screen when getting into a car, the setting will stay then, until you change it again on another car from the car selection page..

What is weird is when changing it at the in race quick tune menu it will be displayed in there as what you changed it to (In my case 2) to, but when you go to race it will use (10) what is default (I believe)

If you change the setting from the in race quick tune menu they will revert to what you had it saved at during car selection. UNLESS you select another car, The new setting will be displayed there and will be implied when you select the new car, that will then become your new universal TCS setting.

So its kind of like a set it in the car selection menu and forget it, I set it once to 2 and left it alone & now its always 2 for every car. Just do it from the car selection menu when choosing a car.
