The live stream has started, the race starts in 30 minutes.

Has everyone had their pre race meal ?

Breakfast was Captain Crunch Crunchberry cereal and a bagel with strawberry cream cheese spread.

Jazz... nice!

I just showed my Mum how big the 'gravel' is at Spa...

This is an actual piece from La Source - fortunately the car is 1:43 scale.

Some great driving to avoid a much bigger incident there - looks like Nicki Thiim did really well to stay out of that.

In the crash were :
#34 Aston Martin (Pro Cup)
#66 Audi (Silver Cup)
#35 Aston Martin (Silver Cup)
#992 BMW (Silver Cup)
#70 Ferrari (Pro-AM Cup)

Tresor Attempto Racing is not experiencing the same race as at Monza...

And, as happens every year, the broadcaster has fun adding useless information above the cars.

Edit : They say the temperature in the Mercedes-AMG cockpit can reach up to 70°C under these conditions.

They certainly aren't having the same race now, three legged Audi.

The #34 Aston Martin made good use of the FCY after being involved in the first-lap crash, running 8th after five pit stops. The #89 Porsche was lucky too in Bronze Cup, idem for #700 Aston Martin in Pro-AM Cup.

That's crazy - they better have cool suits and/or a tonne of hydration, otherwise that's not going to work...

I witnessed Mirko Bortolotti collapsing as he exited the winning #63 last year at Spa, albeit that was after a very tough final session - but the temps were nowhere near where they are right now, so the drivers and teams must have to be super careful.

The Ferraris are looking pretty solid - I'm also very happy to see them use FCY without Safety Cars as much as possible and it has kept things going pretty smoothly so far. No doubt there will be plenty of disruption later if and when that weather comes in...

Hope your #80 will be able to show its potential as we go furthermore into this race. I'm in love with that simple design and old-school washed colors.
Me too, I‘ve always liked more unconventional color schemes that stand out from the mass of the usual black, silver and white racing liveries!

Flat tire for the #51 just across the start line. That's a long way to get that car back to the pits.
Damn 😓

Engel was looking in good shape even before the puncture, so it's going to be hard for #51 to get this back.

Wow. 2115 and still this much light on the track

absolutely gutted for the 51 Ferrari

EDIT - Engel to the pits

How much left is on the clock? Think my feeds delayed.

Edit: by half an hour, wtf happened there?

Thanks, thought something was wrong because the 51 was still in the lead.

I was gonna say, the YouTube feed at least seems to be ~30-45 seconds behind the actual race, if the live timing is accurate.

I tuned in a couple hours late, but the large pre-race activities and the various yellows has allowed me to fast forward several times and have now caught up to the live feed. #64 Mustang going well, hopefully it stays that way.

Off topic - Spa looks amazing in the evening. Great work by the drone operators as well.

EDIT - 51 Ferrari is now in P 40
