Only RWD is allowed in GT3, that's why the GTR is also RWD.

You've got 2 options for a street course.Let's hope this doesn't end up like a TUDOR race![]()
Unlike USCR though, we actually saw racing.

Radiator problemsso what happened to #35?
That's what happens when you let factory teams use cars that aren't homologated to the base spec of the series. That's the only thing holding PWC back right nowHorible horible quality, racing wasn't that good either... Those Caddies are way too fast, anytime the Ferrari got close a 5 second gap appeared out of nowhere, big time sand bagging going on here. We need Enge back ASAP!!
There's nothing wrong with that as long as they stay on top of the BoP. SCCA has been doing it for a long time, before you or me where born so they do know what they're doing. The biggest problem here is talent, as simple as that. You have a huge factory team playing with customer teams and Amateur drivers, when the big guns show up like Enge on St.Pete or Rast on Houston last year you really see the good close racing. That's what happens when you let factory teams use cars that aren't homologated to the base spec of the series. What I don't get is that there are guys ranked am by the FIA and IMSA (Hedlund) in GT while others that are arguably pro in the GT-A class. There's nothing wrong with that as long as they stay on top of the BoP. My guess is that one sanctioning body qualifies them as Am while another qualies them as Pro.What I don't get is that there are guys ranked am by the FIA and IMSA (Hedlund) in GT while others that are arguably pro in the GT-A class.
I have no doubt that's the case, it's been like that since 2005. Cadillac has always been on the top since it first came into WC-GT and it has been paying the bills, every now and then someone get's close and maybe win, but they always manage to come out on top. Also keep in mind most of the field is racing brand new machinery, I'm also anxious to see what Realtime Racing will do with the new cars once they are ready.Notice Caddy was 1-2 and Kia was 1-3, and the main ads we saw were for Cadillac, Kia, and Pirelli. I think that has a little to do with the BoP if I had to speculate.
The problem is: those GT3 machines are in a set spec meaning that unless PWC wants to differ from the spec overseas, the only car that can be adjusted in GT is the Caddy. With all the money coming in from them, I don't see that happening. Look for Caddy, Acura, and Kia domination this season with the occasional challenge from another team like the Lambo at St. Pete. That's a turn off for me knowing that one car has an obvious advantage.I have no doubt that's the case, it's been like that since 2005. Good stuff eventho the clarity isn't all that great on my computer at the moment but it will do until I get my airing are the tapes surfaces via YouTube 👍Anyone for Pirelli World Challenge at Long Beach now?

You know, I don't think the advantage is that huge, I think there is still an advantage but the biggest advantage they have is their drivers. I mean Johnny O is no slouch, the guy has won how many championships and wins does the guy have? We're talking world class drivers against glorified grassroots guys here. The problem is: those GT3 machines are in a set spec meaning that unless PWC wants to differ from the spec overseas, the only car that can be adjusted in GT is the Caddy. Dyson racing went car shopping. http://sportscar365.com/gt/world-challenge/bentley-set-for-pwc-program/
An increase in tracks used in the WC is always welcome, however, I wish there was a closer Road Racing track to Chicago that's not a 4 hours drive awayFor those of you that are interested in the WC, I've heard from an inside source that they might go back to PIR and make a big race out of it..I'm hoping so, because I live 30 minutes away.
