Agreed, Chicago could use a race.
Yes, Chicago always complains about not having enough jobs yet doing something like this could be very lucrative for jobs and the city's tourism but we still refuse to do it.Agreed, Chicago could use a race.
An increase in tracks used in the WC is always welcome, however, I wish there was a closer Road Racing track to Chicago that's not a 4 hours drive away![]()
Just saw this. I was there on a photography course with Jessops and VW (The VW cup was also running.) There were 6 of us on the course and we got the benefit of a professional photographer to help us out all day.So, anybody heading to British GT's on Monday?
Did you get any of my mate Kieran's crash?Just saw this. I was there on a photography course with Jessops and VW (The VW cup was also running.) There were 6 of us on the course and we got the benefit of a professional photographer to help us out all day.

Yep, start line crash. Watched the clean up from behind the commentary box.No, I never saw any crashes apart form a Corvette going through the gravel in the Classic V8 race. I sort of caught that but it's a bit blurry.
Was he in one of the VW's that crashed at the first corner? We were at the other end of the pit straight for that one, complaining to the Jessops guy that we were there with VW to take photos and because of a VW crash there was no racing at that point.

I can't get used to those "handles" on the wing, where the struts are. They remind me of the handles on shampoo bottles. Now that is interesting. Apparently Audi is testing a new R8 GT3.

It's because of how air flows and how the bottom of the wing is more important than the too so they're trying to not have anything in the way that might disrupt the air flow. There's a video on /Drive that talks about it briefly.I can't get used to those "handles" on the wing, where the struts are. They remind me of the handles on shampoo bottles.
Swan Necks have been around for years. Look much better than a traditional under mounted fixing.I can't get used to those "handles" on the wing, where the struts are. They remind me of the handles on shampoo bottles.
It's something that all multi-class series seem to struggle with, and it's something I wish they would change. Often the racing is just as good, if not better, in the lower class.I really wish they would focus on GTS more. The only time they really watched it was when the mustangs piled up. I mean, there's more than one class out there
It's easier to cover 2 classes than having to cover 3 or more. I feel like PWC is only putting the GT/GTA (still puzzling why there's both) on a pedestal and leaving the rest out to try.I don't know, I thought they covered GTS a fair amount. Much more than other series cover their "lower" classes.
