Do you have the news channel 'Bloomberg'? Because it's also shown on that. Other than that I'm not sure what else you could do, sorry!

Yeah but the TV guide here shows it not being live. Speed (ch505 for those in Aus on Austar) will be showing it tomorrow in full so I'll be waiting for that.

Ah, strange. Bloomberg shows it live for me.

__________

Really bad luck for the JRM boys, they were doing so well.

That sucked for Westbrook/Dumbreck 👎

It did suck for them, at least they will soon have a chance to redeem themselves!

Apologies for those who haven't watched the race, but checking this thread out probably isn't the best idea if you don't want spoilers!

That's one way to get past. Probably will go into investigation now though, as it wasn't strictly the Aston's fault.

TJ_GTplayer - We don't need a running commentary or multiple posts. Edit your post instead of making a new one if no one else has posted in the meantime. Thanks.

So how was the racing yesterday, I was out all day and didn't get to see the qualy race?

Also TJ_GTplayer it's 'Yeah' or 'Yes' not 'Yh'.

Look you will not give me spelling advice it's yh. You knew what it meant so get over it. I would totally understand if it did not make sense but it did.

AUP says you are to use proper spelling and grammar and not textspeak. Its yeah not yh so get over it.

Other than that I'm pretty shattered how the weekend went for Catsburg and Hezemans, was so excited to see a Corvette on pole then boom, rules kicked them back to 7th and then Catsburg spun after passing a JRM GTR....stopped watching the race after that.

AUP
•You will not use “textspeak” (“r”, “u”, “plz”, etc.) in your messages. Decent grammar is expected at all times, including proper usage of capital letters.

I'm not trying to be a mod, but they will tell you that you signed up so you must adhere to the AUP.

It's not for the benefit of people that speak english and know what you mean. GTPlanet also has a lot of members who aren't fluent in english or use a translator to read posts, those couple of extra letters really help them out.

If it keeps raining here in the Midlands today I might catch the race.

There was a great battle between an Aston Martin, a Lamborghini and a GTR. The Lamborghini ended up in the gravel and the aston ended up ahead of the GTR.

Apologies for the lack of updates here, was busy at the time and never got round to it. However I thought I'd update the results before the Tourist Trophy round of the GT1 World Championship & 2nd round of the GT3 European Championship this weekend at Silverstone.

Yup, I'm there on the Sunday too. Weather is currently set to be okay:

http://www.myweather2.com/Motor-Racing/United-Kingdom/Silverstone-Circuit.aspx?sday=2

Bit overcast and a bit of rain in the morning. Hoping the good weather stays for the rest of the day.

In other news Nissan is on top so far after the free practice session this morning:

Nissan set the pace in Friday's Free Practice session with the British pairing of Richard Westbrook and Peter Dumbreck fastest in their JRM Motorsport GT-R No.22 with a best time of 1:08:17.399.

Second was the sister car, the No.23 of Michael Krumm and Lucas Luhr with a time of 1:09.59.285. The Exim Bank Team China Corvette No.11 of Mike Hezemans and Andreas Zuber muscled in on the Nissan party to be third quickest, some seventh tenths off the pacesetters.

Pre-Qualifying takes place this afternoon at 15:15 local time.

I did hear from various sources on Twitter that they had some trouble with the timing equipment, so that might be the reason they've taken a rather strange top time.
