Saturday Geezer Races
8:30 AM ET (Qualify for the first race start @ 8:50) - (PS1)

Cars:

Gr.X - Red Bull Junior - Tires: RH - No Tune
Gr.4 - Bop (mixed make) - Tires: RH - No Tune
N500 - 911 GT3 RS (991) '16 - Tires: RH - No Tune
N300 - GREDDY FUGU Z - Tires: SS - Tune Open (PS3)


Race and Track conditions:
Whether: Sunny and Clear Day
Laps: 5 to 9 depending on track length
Grid: Stand start
Tire: consumption during race will be set @ 4x for all cars
Fuel: consumption during race will be set at 60 liters and 5x for all cars
Qualify: 5 minutes, no fuel or tire consumption, grid set by best lap for the 1st race. Then, grid based on last race results.
Penalty System: ON Week
Boost: ON Strong
Slipstream: ON Real

First Race/Qualify
Red Bull Junior @ Tokyo Expressway - South Outer Loop

4th place chose next combo (car n track)

Final race @ Blue Moon (people in lobby decides what to do)

PS1 - By 8:50 we will start a qualification time to set the grid for the first race, then the grid order as above. If you are not on the lobby by 8:50 you will only race on the second race. Even though we don't leave geezers behind, during qualify DO NOT exit your car or you will be out of the first race (game policies) .
PS2 - Lobby is friends only, if you are a Geezer (+60 yrs) and would like to participate, send a FR to PSN: GT-RaceAce

VE day today guys, lets all spare a minute or two to remember the people that fought, and died, to save us all from the tyranny that could have been. And If it had not been for you guys across the pond getting involved the outcome would have been so different for Europe. Lets all hope it never happens again.

I heard a good one today from a three time cowboy fast draw champion on a show

It has nothing to do with age but the fact is you don’t lose a condition reflex with age. The guys in their 60s and 70s are every bit as fast as the younger guys

I dont know if you guys like to watch this kind of video but i found very entertaining this race in special the 2nd part of the race. Charles Leclerc and other F1 drivers and some game drivers, good to see how good they are and how easy they make us to bealive it is. The game is F1 2019

OMG! Fellas, I do not but some of you may have a couple thousand lying around collecting dust to toss down for a very realitic sim setup. This guy Taylor Ray is a Pro Drifter (check out some of his drifting vids) and YouTuber. Watch as he reviews his latest aquisition, a motion sensor racing seat for all the best racing games. He of course shows us a bit of drifting, a drive in a GT3 911 and in an F1 taking the seat through it's paces. He said it cost around $2K. Unbelievable!

I've chased Hamilton's ghost for many more miles at Mt Panorama, and I have marginally improved my best lap time to 2:01.562 (from 2:01.571 (which I ran a second time)), but I still have not been able to match him or beat his ghost:grumpy::drool::crazy:

As you can see by my recent replays, I'm now running laps that are only a tenth or two behind Hamilton's ghost, but I just can't find that last tenth.:(

Hamilton's Diamond time is a 2:01.477, so I'm almost there.:drool:
Maybe next lap.....................
