Saturday Geezer Races
8:30 AM ET (Qualify for the first race start @ 8:50) - (PS1)

Cars:

Gr.2 - Petronas Tom's SC430 08' - Tires: RM - No Tune
Gr.3 - Bop (mixed make) - Tires: RH - No Tune
N500 - Millage car of the week - Tires: RH - No Tune
N200 - Roadster Touring Car - Tires: SS - No Tune

Race and Track conditions:
Whether: Sunny and Clear Day
Laps: 5 to 9 depending on track length
Grid: Stand start
Tire: consumption during race will be set @ 4x for all cars
Fuel: consumption during race will be set at 60 liters and 5x for all cars
Qualify: 5 minutes, no fuel or tire consumption, grid set by best lap for the 1st race. Then, grid based on last race results.
Penalty System: ON Week
Boost: ON Strong
Slipstream: ON Real

First Race/Qualify
N200 @ BB Raceway

4th place chose next combo (car n track)

Final race @ Blue Moon (people in lobby decides what to do)

PS1 - By 8:50 we will start a qualification time to set the grid for the first race, then the grid order as above. If you are not on the lobby by 8:50 you will only race on the second race. Even though we don't leave geezers behind, during qualify DO NOT exit your car or you will be out of the first race (game policies) .

Geezers. As they say, all good things must come to an end. My work/ life schedule is no longer going to allow me to open a Wednesday night room. It doesn’t however mean that I cannot join someone else’s room time permitting. It’s been a great run. Time for someone else to take the reins. I will join Wednesday evening time permitting. Adios for now...Goat
 
Finally, after more miles than I want to count, I've run a Diamond lap at Mt Panorama and have beaten Hamilton's time!!!:):):)

A day earlier, I had run a 2:01.491 lap as you can see below, so I know I was getting close and then bam!! I put together some decent corners over the last half of the lap, and the Diamond trophy is mine!!:):):)

This was pretty tough:banghead: :eek::boggled: and I had to run a lot of miles.
The upside is that I now know how to run this Mercedes at Mt Panorama!:lol:

As for settings, I used BB+1 for all corners except for the last two, where I switched back to BB=0.
I was using the manual gearbox, and shifting down into 2nd gear in all the obvious places except for the Chase chicane where I was staying in 3rd gear.

Race 1 - Maggiore Center 8 laps -- Golf VII GTI '14 SS tires no tune. Qualifying race.

After that choice of track, one make or BOP. no tuning Gr2 (RM), Gr3 (RH), Gr4 (RH) or the Golf
