Geezers and Friends Sunday Races

Good morning chaps. Room will open at 08.00 US ET. Racing starts at 09.00 (14.00 UK time)

Today we will use the

GR2 Lexus RCF
GR3 4c
GR4 Megane Trophy
And yesterdays car as well.. GR4 SLS AMG Merc



Usual room setup. 3rd place picks track, 6th place chooses car.

Hello all, some friends with whom I ran a few years ago, now passed to Prjcar, have asked me to replace a pilot of their in the next races interforum (SR-league) gtsport category. The first one will be Thursday. I told them it was a bad idea :crazy: but I'll have to do. To train a little tonight I will open a room in Bhatch GR3 at 21 Italian time and if anyone wants to participate is very welcome. I'll have to use the Porsche, the others what they want. If someone can come I have to set up a 20 minute race, 3x gasoline, 6x tires, realistic damage etc. BOP and free setup. :bowdown:
 
Thanks Oldphart, imagine I'll have to run 2 manches, 20 and 40 minutes and the second at night ! :boggled:

I bought the Tesla but I haven't tried it yet

Well, this cold is kicking my butt. Should have called in, but it's me, and I still had all my limbs

Tried to do the quals, but no energy.
The Tesla in the A race is weird. Auto, electric and ass happy sensation of speed is deceptive.

The A race gives me motion sickness. I have a really hard time feeling any since of speed. The expansion joints and tire squeal is the only thing you hear. Really weird

Any time tomorrow/Wednesday/Thursday after 9:00am eastern us time I’ll do laps with you Cal.
 
21 Italian time doesn't sound like I would be awake.

But a 20 and 40 minute race would be awesome!

Geezers and Friends N500 night. Start at Barcelona in the Alfa 4C road car x 5 laps. RM. No tune. Boost weak. The other 2 cars to choose from are: Lexus RCF ‘14 and the Peugeot RCZ. All N500 cars. 4th place picks track, 5th picks car. Finish at Blue Moon in the Chevy Chaparral for 5 races x 9 laps? Later ladies!! Room opens 7:30 east, 6:30 central, 4:30 pacific. Update. UPDATE.. Gr4 Alfa 4C...458 Italia..AUDI TT CUP 16

Hello and Merry Christmas to all Geezers and geezers in training (which is everyone else). This Saturday I'll be on the road and will not be available to run the room. It would be great if someone would step up and open the room.

Let see now,, 'ol "duce" lives near Seattle, Wa,, that's in the Pacific time zone - SOOOOO - thayt means tonights racing loby will open at precisely 4:30pm, that's 1630 military time unless my memory of the 24 hour clock is as screwed as is my memory for just about everything else! Anyway, I "think" I've got it this time. Cool car choices Scotty,, they should prove to be fun with RM tires - AND - possibly/perhaps a modified trans but that's just a thought and we'll have to see how they go. See yas this eve!

Chronicle of a Geezer race

For the first time in my "career" I did a race of endurance and I learned that qualifications can be done only in minutes set for the test rounds and that at the end of time the race ends and if you have not crossed the finish line you lose 1 round.


Qualifications: I thought they were pratice... :confused: time of the first,1.22,896 . My time 1, 25,549 seventh.
Race 1: I follow all the advice of Gary :bowdown:, I try to stay calm and prudent. Unfortunately on lap 6 I make a mistake that costs me 6/7 seconds 👎 and I lose a position. Seventh place final. Fast Ride 1.26, 4 (first 1.23, 3)

Race 2: inverted grid and some battle in the first laps. I try to be cautious. After the pit1 try to force a little and I make my fastest lap at 10 in 1.25,730 and at lap 11 I go out in the sand at the first corner :yuck:. (losing 10/12 sec)

I start again with caution and all goes well but at the second pit I forget that 45 liters are enough and I put 85 :boggled:, losing the hopes of gaining 1 position. Again seventh.
I got tired a lot but also enjoyed a lot

Hit the number one spot in the World on Circuit Experience Tsukuba #3 lol Go Geezers ! plus a 2&3rd on 2 other ones today
