Hello Geezers , here is Revolutionkiter my name is ULI . I enjoyed the racings yesterday with you. Sorry for my bad english. I#m 65 of age and i played gt since Gt1 , my favorite hobbys are building and flying Revolution ( quadline ) kites. I hope to see you next time on track. My home country is Krefeld in Germany , it's betwen Cologne and Düsseldorf that means 120 Km to NÜRBURGRING.

Hi Uli, Thanks again for sharing who you are and your background. We enjoyed meeting you in the Sunday Geezers racing and we thank Claude for inviting you to join in. As you learned by being a part of the chat lobby, we have a lot of fun badgering and giving each other a good natured hard time. The racing is secondary to the chat for most of us. By the by, my name is John, I live near Seattle, Wa and like many of we Geezers I too have been an avid fan of GranTurismo since the first edition was introduced to PS1 in 1997 and joined online GT5 when I retitred in 2013. Geezers and Friends Aston Martin night. Start at Autopolis. N400 V8 Vantage x7 laps. RM. Then go to Dragon Trail Seaside in the N600 DB11 ‘16. Power 100% Weight 96%. RM. x7 laps. Then onto St. Croix B in the N800 One-77 ‘11. RM. x6 laps. Once that is over, other tracks TBD. At the end we will have a 18 lap, Bluemoon clean race GR2. Followed by the usual carnage team races. Have a blue and black Gr2. I will set teams. Room opens at 6:00 central. I know it’s 30 minutes earlier but I’m off work. If we get 6 guys, we will have an early bird. First official race will start at 7:00.....later laddies

I painted my cars, but feel terrible. Been three days. Probably sitting this one out. And I gotta work Saturday...
 
I hope not! But if I have to... I've been running the press for a couple weeks. And with missing quite a bit of time I offered a full day Saturday. I did just a few hours a day. I've been asleep for three days. Barely any eating or drinking. Everyone has been passing this flu around.
 
Hi geezers. I'm wanting to see if there is any interest in having a Tuesday geezer race. I work from my house so I'm flexible on start time. If any one is interested let me know. Thanks!
 
Saturday Geezer Races
8:30 AM ET (first race 9:06)
Cars:
GrX - F1 W08 (please refere to PS1)
Gr3 - BMW M6 GT3 Walkenhorst '16
N500 - Porsche 911 GT3
N300 - A110 '17 Alpine

Cars will be set by its original power and weight (individually)
After each race, 5th place decides the combo for next race (car and track) if the racer is in chat, if not I'll move to the next on line.

Tires:
Gr.X -> RS
Gr.3, N500 -> RH
N300 -> SS

Race will be set by time (10 to 15 min depending on the length of the track)
Grid (Based on last race results, first is first)
Boost = weak
No fuel and tire consumption.
First Combo - Sainte-Croix A + F1 W08

Final race @ Blue Moon (people in lobby decides what to do)

See ya there!

PS1 - For F1 W08 will be permitted tuning. There are a bunch of tuning in youtube I'll be using Praiano's tune, but, you are free to run it stock (no whining allowed :lol:)
PS2 - There will be no time for tuning between races, i suggest to do it before race day (like today) we will try to keep time between races to a minimum.
PS3 - If we have 8 or more in the lobby by 8:50 we will start a Early Bird race to set the grid for the first race
PS4 - Lobby is friends only, if you are a Geezer and would like to participate, send a FR to PSN: acenbrone.

Had some fun laps in the Mercedes at St.Crois yesterday,, remembering which corners are lap killers is gonna make for some interesting races me thinks.:banghead: Tried the others - the Beemer in the B daily, not competative but will be fast and fun in our one make races, the Alpine will be VERY competative as well as the Porsche, they're awesome just about everywhere! ~ Including the 24 hour Norschleif.:bowdown: Excellent car choices and well planned. Twice thumbs UP! 👍👍
 
Like every weekend I have my oldest grandchild with me, today I also have that little one and I didn't have time to buy F1. :boggled:
Now I have to prepare their lunch, then I'll buy the car ..... track and semi-unknown cars, we'll have fun !

All will be set @ 100 %
Early bird special = 8, we race
Usual start time
2nd gets car & track choice
Start with Autopolis (sp) Gr 3
