No :( but we knew it.
@SlipZtrEm is right! This layout is around 20km long and I don't think there is more than two versions of the Nordscheleife.
Damn. I don't intend to buy Gran Turismo Sport but if Le Mans was included I would have put it on a list of potential Christmas presents. Now the only appealing feature of GTS is the Livery Editor as I have wanted one of those in a game for as long as I can remember, but unfortunately the game surrounding it now seems too shallow.

And the first letter is definitely "T".

Why is the second versions of tracks called "II" instead of "Reverse"? Could it be more time/weather settings? Looks like single track can have only 7 variations, but with second version we can have 14. Though this is a pretty strange way to do it.

For those who ask, Cyril've replied me that he didn't see the rain or fog in the preview version.
I think, that we will not see rain in GTS. But I hope, that Im wrong.. But Im happy with GTS how it is.

No problem, I'm sure Poly is not that crazy to release GTSport without rain knowing they had 4 years from GT6. :sly:

There's still something strange about the steering wheel movement vs actual turning (or tyre movement if you will). Seems to me like the car stops turning a liitle while before the steering wheel returns to its default position. A little thing but it drives me a little crazy to be honest. Can be seen in the French video (part where he drives an R18 @ Dragontrail)

Because it s played with a pad, no input so it s reset the wheel position

We can't dismiss the idea that there will be no weather in GT Sport.

But once again, if there is no weather, why put the rain or intermediate tires ? That's why, I think, that's why I'm optimistic on fact that the weather will be there in product version. We'll see.

Anyway, I'm also very satisfied with how GTS is.

Yes, its a very positive aspect about rain tires, so we never know how it will be in future.
So the wait is no more long!

He buries the brake pedal while turning at high speed. Don't think it has anything to do with lift off oversteer.
Yes. The situation is not a normal lift-off oversteer with gas.
If watched carefully the oversteer begins at the moment when he starts to release the abs brake. That seems and feels quite wrong actually. There is too much steering input at that moment but also a driving assist (indicator flashes) kicks in at the same moment. I wonder if that ultimately causes the spin + noobness.

miata naturally goes sideways because of the suspension and brakes are probably set way too strong in the front which killed the lift off oversteer..

I think :boggled:

Actually I have tried to ask the guy and he said the motion (I assumed that is vehicle's physics) is close to the real car and better than GT6 (although as we know in GT6 there is no ND Miata/MX-5 yet) :

It's also possible, although strange, to see wet track surface and no rain to keep the good performance and high fame rates, for instance.

To use rain or snow tires we only need the track to be wet or covered in snow.

In past GTs we could drive on rally tracks covered in snow while the sun was shining (Alaska or Chamonix).

I know that having dynamic weather with rain and snow falling down while changing the track surface would be great but the fact that we've seen different types of tires doesn't necessarily mean the rain and snow will be there.

I can't remember, in the beta, it was possible to activate the turn signals, headlights, but what about wipers?

I remember Tsukuba Wet in GT4...

It's possible the tires were coded and added to the menus a long time ago because they intended to put ran into the game and subsequently have had difficulty with frame rates during wet weather.

Damn, those visuals still impress me. That was PS2...

A Tokyo Expressway track in GTS in the same conditions at 4K would be incredible.

ftfy

Thats certainly possible, althought you would hope that they would have removed them from the game pretty quickly upon realising that they werent going to make it into the game to avoid this sort of false advertising.

He also said that there weren't all the cars and tracks in the preview version. And many modes was inaccessible.
Cyril Drevet: "The full car list is not yet revealed and i guess that the track menu i saw on arcade mode is not the complete one (famous tracks r missing)"
I guess he thinks about Le Mans but it's probably the official track list, all the known tracks are there (even Interlagos).

@RaY29rus AMG GTS?

II is what they used to call reverse tracks in old Gran Turismos, since all of these are original courses I'm not surprised

Oh.... Perhaps he thinks there are another tracks yet. Yes, it seemed odd to me because we see 34 variations in video. More than expected (29).

I hope we get some information next week.
