The excessive transmission whine is still there and the Audi R18 TDI sounds really poor. Looks stunning, though it must said, we have yet to see wet weather. A new Gran Turismo launches in 3 weeks and there seems to be very little hype.

(TGS Mazda Roadster footage) What do you guys say about this Suzuka first corner lift-off oversteer? (At about 4:57)

It actually seems to be brake lift-off oversteer in this case.

He buries the brake pedal while turning at high speed. Don't think it has anything to do with lift off oversteer.

 I couldn't take him seriously when he started talking about his impressions on the physics, balance, simulation part of the game. When the camera pointed to his hands it was hilarious. ^^ Who still plays racing games with the D-pad?

I would though because sometimes I just want to go for a quick play without adjusting settings. The other is because I still can't (didn't need for now actually because there are priorities to fulfilled first) afford expensive simulation wheel. Yes, it looks jarring playing with pad these days but it isn't a big deal to myself as long the feedback and control is decent. And having good times playing is enough for me. Well that's myself, others could have different preferences.

In my opinion perhaps he using with pad because want to try and know how the feedback feels like. Or maybe they didn't have much time to do for the set up.

I think that's just Nürburgring GP variation.

I should re-phrase: going from L-R, top-bottom, the second Nürburgring option. I see the Nordschleife, [some variation], 24H, and GP.

Probably the GP/D course.

One of the fastest guys of the Beta, Windfire, was using a pad...

Rain tires and inters are there.

No circuit other than the Master List is there.
At this stage it would be really bizarre if there weren't wet track variations. I'm not necessarily talking about full rain, but wet tracks that kick up spray. From a technical perspective it must be very similar to fog implementation.

Probably the GP/D course.

The text is too long — it gets bumped down to another line. Also looks like the track length is closer to the Nordschleife than the GP.

Going by the length of the name, and a certain small portion of the E3 trailer, I'd assume it's a certain other variation. One we've seen in Assetto Corsa.

Hmmmmm, nurb tourist would be interesting.

So funny :D

Lol, I know. What bothered me even more was way he was using it. Looked like just button mashing with a strange finger pointing grip. I don't know how the car was keeping its grip, must of had lots of TCS.

Yes you guys mean using a controller though. I assume Windfire use the anlogue sticks.

zzz_pt meant the guy is using the D-pad (Directional Pad) As pictured below...

We've seen wet tracks twice now (Porsche picture and Aston Martin video), just not any showcased at events. I guess no one wants to try it out?

Ah... I see then. I've tried using directional pad and it is weird. I also prefer analogue to steer though. Well if that's the case then... yeah I agree it is odd...

That would be one of the greatest things for me, loved the driving out of the parking lot onto the track in AC, gives a whole different atmosphere!

But i really doubt the tourist layout to be playable sadly :indiff:

Could it be the Type V version? I liked that one.

Wait really? Never seen this, can I get some sauce?

I couldn't find the Porsche image, it was going around a corner with some other car (another Porsche?) and was deemed as just tire smoke. But here's the Aston Martin clip.

I believe that to be a wet track.

Gran Turismo is the only racing game I play "X" as accelerator and 'square' as brakes, Its just so nostalgical from me since the first series came up, and I can't shange it anymore, I drive better with those buttons! :)

No no thats a broken head gasket, its still a english car after all haha ;)

But serious, looks more like dust to me....

Most likely, it is dust. Why would PD give them a wet track when weather footage is nowhere to be found? It wouldn't make sense and too obvious to be an oversight.

The nearest french text that I can find is maybe 'local visiteur'
Maybe because the text is not enough clear with 720p...

Did anybody see Le Mans in the circuit list? I was watching on my phone and couldn't make out much text.

by watching the video we can understand the operation of the arcade mode ... in fact one wins races and one receives money and Exp ..
the money is likely to buy (among other) cars and exp to unlock circuits .. it's a mini solo mode actually .. 💡

That's really nice. At least the Arcade mode isn't useless at all.

It will be a grindfest there.
