GT Sport did really well in Europe, where I think racing is a much more popular sport, but it really sucked in North America.
FIA GT racing is a much more niche subject over here, so that being the main focus turned a lot of Americans off. Oh well, I prefer an FIA racing game over a ricing simulator any day.

GT Sport did well in europe just like Toca did a long time ago the FIA thing doesn't help in America maybe codemasters decided to make Grid to appeal to Americans. GT Sport could add more American cars and race tracks I don't know if it will work or maybe they just like Need for Speed.
