you know, like a test to see what sort of person they are before they can enter :)

of course i'd never get in cause i am insane :p

What do u guys think would be a good resulotion for this problem. ?

Do u want too start a new thread ? in wich we could talk about this.. if so we should get a Moderators Permission first.!

well there isnt much that can be done... ban an IP and they can get in from another computer. ban a person and they come back as some1 else.
you could let each new person in aon a trial basis

Wow, if im correct i posted about 100 posts today alone!

PS: My 600th POST
because mabe if we got a bit more mods. that mite control it more there would be a decreased chance of these kinds of ppl staying at GTP for long.!

too many chief = bad :/

I think they are dealt with quickly enough.

The problem with more mods is that you need to watch their activity over a period to ensure they can be trusted so you can't rush the appointment of mods.

But seroiusly we mite need to increase the number of mods inorder to help solve this problem.. ,

2 right gumpy.... I've seen many a mod go all power crazy!~ :)

But each mod at the moment could be assigned to a person.. and monitor and after mabe a month or so report back .

maybe a mod/forum but not a mod/person!!!

I think what cobraking is saying is that if there are 10 mods then Jordan would pick 10 more people who are potential mods. Each mod monitors 1 potential mod and then reports back.

I THINK

mods modding the mods modding the mods......???

sounds confusuing :p

I think this is how cobraking is suggesting the potential mods are watched to ensure they are trustworthy.

yeah i got it... just kidding :p

gotta go work now cyas :p

yah thats what i tried to say Gumpy ure right on the muney 👍

the moderator positions you want to create silly :p

There are plenty of mods at the moment, though I'm sure Jordan already has his eye on portential additions. Right now we have a pretty good spread of time zones, as well, so that someone is on at most times around the clock.

Two things you can do to help: use the 'Report to Moderators' button on unacceptable posts, and be specific in the comment you add. Sometimes it's obvious what the problem is, sometimes not. But that button really does help us put our attention in the right place.

The second thing is to post calmly to users with bad behaviour, and tell them that they're violating the rules. Don't attack and start a flame war; just say "Look, that's not appropriate, and please knock it off." It's amazing how many people will go away on their own if they can't get a rise out of their targets.
