Ya, the MR-s is closest now, but its hard to get through the long left hand sweeper cause as soon as you catch a rumble strip in that car you are almost certain to go around..

man, i was about to not run this, but seeing how its the last race till gt4 comes out, ill join in with my rx7. cant say my lap times will be the best though.

New STS Racer for Next week's race
you dont have to pay for tires...
next weeks challange might be for gt4... although im not too sure on that.

i sure hope it is. that or we can make next week cote d' azur and call gt4 for week 4.

next week will not be in GT4

how am i going to make up a challenge for saturday in a game i wont own until wednesday or thursday??? we wont go to GT4 until sometime after March 9th. I think we may limit the classes running after this week however, as I imagine all interest in playing GT3 will be diminished for us north americans.

As for the discussion about the torque on the beefier cars in the game. I personally would like to impose a PWR restriction on a select few cars that benefit from this advantage, but havent been around the last couple days to catch Azuremen on AIM (I was home from university, visiting my parents). I will discuss it with him later tonight, though, if he comes online. STA doesnt look like it needs much help - it has 4 or 5 very competitive cars. We do need to do something about the camaro in STB however.

That makes sense to me bud! I'll try to through a few runs together for this one. Just for old times sake! :)

reminder: times are due in approximately 10 hours

I'm looking extrememly slow..... :indiff:

oh, and Leaderboard Updated

Damn I'm sorry guys, I couldn't commit this week. I hate to be one to make empty promises like this, though. :guilty:
I did make some progress on the game, though. 26%, with a Le Mans Corvette as my fastest auto. S License.
If this series is to continue into GT4, it will be pretty tough to buy, tune, try cars due to the autosave, if that gets carried over.
Please, pardon my incompetence. 👎

hrm, thats interesting
but I expected GT4 to require some adjustment. We wont move there until mid-late March so that everyone will then have had some chance to purchase it and make some progress into it. And even then, the first couple rounds may be conducted in Arcade to get everything sort of felt out.
It's hard to say though, having not played the game yet.

I'll admit, I probably don't know as much about the upcoming release as I should. I've been trying my best not to read up on it too much, with limited success. It's a feeble attempt to not get too anxious over it.

Here is my latest update on STA, which will probably be the last one as well :indiff:
I had an awesome (from my point of view, anyway) T1 (faster than Luxy's :D), but then it was all downhill from there... Admittedly, I improved last week's time by almost a second, but I just can't be bothered anymore :scared:

I will only submit STA this week (most likely)

Here are my splits:

T1: 0'12.837
T2: 0'27.798
T3: 0'57.216

The lap is clean and the replay will be submitted in the 'Results' thread, as usual.

The Wizard.
