yeah 8:30 if you want to practice. I'll post the # here or if you're friends with me on PSN you can use the community tab to follow me into the room.

Mandatory pit stop?

At 20 laps I think a pit stop will be mandatory in order to have any kind of competitive placing. I won't enforce it but I think everyone will need to stop at least once, realistically.

Yeah tyres are edgey by 5-6 laps so 10 would be pretty horrid so going anymore than 11 seems the limit ;).

Btw OT but Welsh which is better the Pure NSX on 100% wet Spa or the RGT? Id vote the RGT which gives you an unfair advantage :sly:.

Keep in mind I am on controller and not near the speeds you guys are so I'll be braking earlier than most of you.

Yep, when tailing someone keep in mind you'll have to brake sooner, guys. kkazzoo, I've heard reassigning brake/gas to the triggers gives you more control over accel/deceleration. I've never tried it but most people who use controllers do this, I believe.

Yeah when I used the pad on Grid, F1 2010 and GT5P I used the L2 and R2 triggers :). (Until I got my first wheel :dopey:)

NSX @ Spa in 100% rain = UGLY!!

RGT is a joy to drive :D

Sorry, dude! At least it's preseason. We can try someone else hosting next time. I hear FH has a good connection :scared:

Yeah it happens :(
Another thing, can you please change the time to 8pm EST. It's just a problem of time zone. Here in Brazil, this time is almost midnight and I have school on Mondays.

Hmm well it depends on if everyone can make it.

How do people feel about open practice at 8pm, qualify at 8:30, race at 9pm?

Makes no difference to me ill be coming every week as theres nothing keeping me away since its 2am :D.

So who and what were the fastest times?

I think it was either Paul or Bain with around 1:43ish. I forgot to write it down.

EDIT: OP updated. One more preseason race next week, Nurburgring GP/D. Hoping to get one or two more full-time members. Looking at you, gatrs and troy :)

It was Welsh 43.6 I think I was only a 45.0 .

Yeah, I ran a 43.6 for qualifying and a 43.9 was my best in the race early on before I started bouncing off walls

Great job to Paul with a fine drive and great pace. Looked like a good battle early on with THAT_GUY_2 and Paul also. Saw some very good, clean driving out there today also which bodes well for the championship and should encourage others to join.

I enjoy this car a lot, so I'm gonna say sign me up as a permanent TT13. I should be able to makes most of the races :).

Couple of things I forgot too. The engine Stage 3 limited to make 450hp with all other mods fitted, is definitely quicker also. Not by much, but I believe today it was worth approx' 3mph in top speed at the end of the start/finish straight, 170mph (engine stage 2), 173mph (engine stage 3). The extra torque and broader spread of power at high rpm's helps a little too. I saw this first in the replay, then decided to test it in practice mode by running a few laps in my car, saving the ghost, then added the stage 3 mod and compared to original ghost. Definitely the way to go if anyone is still undecided ;).

The other thing I wanted to ask was if you were going to allow us to drop any results from the final standings to allow for real life to get in the way? Most series I've run in generally count the best 8 from 10 rounds to count. Just a thought.

Yes, I'll drop the worst two of the first ten races, with the exception of the final eleventh race at the Nurburgring 24 hour course, which will be our finale round with a slightly extended run time.

TT13 tell me if you are really going to put the event to start at 8pm EST. It will help me a lot. But first ask to the others if they agree. Thanks in advance.

Well I thought we could compromise and start practice at 8pm, qualify at 8:30, start the actual race directly at 9pm. That way we'd be done at 9:30 instead of 10 or 10:30. Would that be okay? I just seem to remember others not able to get in much earlier from previous discussion.
