If there were to be your own paintjobs in any GT game. There should be a selection of Decals eg NOS, Greddy and Sparco. All those types of performance decals.

Ok, I think were getting a little off track here. Custom artistic paintjobs is one thing, Nos decals is something completely different. Personally, I would be happy if they never included that in the GT series. ;)

I didn't actually mean NOS. It was just a performance part I thought of off the top of my head. Only have the decals of performance parts that are actually in the GT series.

NOS is a maker of Nitrouse oxide, GT4 shouldn't include r!cer style decals or body parts.

Agreed. Now let's just hope they can distinguish between: ricey and nonricey parts. ;)

I know. I was just stating things off the top of my head. What I'm really talking about is decals like Ralliart TRD and Mopar. Decals like that.

Who cares about decals? If you want decals you can create them yourself in the paint editor (if they were to include that feature). ;)

Ah but you wouldn't want average paint work/decal work on an exellent detailed car body. At least if the GT foundation produced a selection of decals they wouldn't change the quality of the cars.

An idea I just came up with was that if you have a grassroots race car in GT (and that's how sane people like to start out), normally, a few decals on the side would be good. The race cars that have some of the ugliest use of sponsorship decals (no offense to such fans) are either NASCAR or some street drag race cars. Being the owner of three NASCAR PC games, I'm used to pasting several on-the-side decals. You know, the decals like EA Sports, Moog, Gatorade, and all those.

Now, I seen import and sport compact cars (I'm not calling them "ricers") with side decals like Greddy, BF Goodrich, Motegi Racing, and all. So if you could tack on some of these sponsors to a street car you want to mold into a pure race car and don't have a lot of money, just buy a pack of decals for your car. If GT4 wants to be more realistic, you would have to try and EARN sponsorship by completing special races, like in Sega GT, even though I haven't played all of it on PC.

Now, an interesting consideration would be to get sponsorship from past cars. But I don't know if a person would want to paint up a Supra with Autobacs or Castrol sponsorship without sponsorship consideration. Maybe we can give PD this consideration. I like this topic idea. Then maybe gir racers might go for the tuner club colors of Yashio Factory, hot pink colors. So customization would be a hell of an idea, especially for online play. So you get to play people with your own personally-customizable GT car. I apologize for not simplifying my topic, but I had a lot to say about it.

Well that sounds really good having sponsers for your "Team" and you get and lose sponsers depending how good you are , now thats a really nice idea but you know how much licensing PD would have to get for al these diffrent sponsers, like when you get a new sponser they give you money or a new car to race with, like if I get a subaru WRX and then I get a sponser from Subaru they either give me an STi just say or decals for my WRX and then some money to hook it up some more, I dunno something along those lines, it would keep the game going and never get boring, like we get our own pit crew choosing our team colors, putting numbers on the side of our cars or whatever just something to keep the game fresh and going not just win, earn money, buy more cars, why not thow something in between to make it interesting, like i said sponsers, pit crew and signing on better and faster crew members, team colors, etc.. just something else to waste our money on, and maybe even a team name that we could make up, or team logos, lets add more to the fun factor on the best driving simulator out there today...
