ok kids...listen up. RB motoring does not i repeat, does NOT legalize skylines. they can import them, but all the legalization process went through mrex. and now that Hiro is being sued, and the company of mrex itself has many class action lawsuits against it, they have stopped legalizing all together. there is no current way to get skylines in the united states as of this point.

Well, thats too bad. Guess one of these will have do for now....

R32,R33,R34 are generations, M-Spec was the british model which feature more oil coolers the R32 had 1, R33 2,R34 had 3 and they all high higher speed limiters, THe Nur endtions featured a Nur tuned suspension thus the record set by the R33 around the Nur. The Gts is a Rear wheel drive Rb25det which is a single turbo. THe GTR feature teh Rb26dett , attessa, and super hiccas. Which translates into AWD, Twin turbo, ATTESSA is one of the best if not the best awd system in the world. It starts as a RWD then transfers torque when tracation loss. Super hicas is a system determines teh amoung of steering imput and feeds power according thus trying to get rid of counter steer. Hopfully i helped and i didn't confuse you.

Almost M-Spec was not British, it was just for another level fo trim but also included bigger brakes and minor tweaks. Nur is in memmory of Nurgburgring as you mentioned but for R34 and also has many underbody tweaks and trim differances.

There are alot more differances/models than most people realise but would take to long to write out, suprised no-one just googles any of this as there is a wealth of knowledge online.

im going to goahead and call bs on you.

canadas laws state that no car under 15 years old may be imported into the country. period. although im sure there are exceptions for company sponsored cars, it is illegal to have a 90+ skyline in the country.

the states has to have the car legalized by mrex, but currently there is no way of getting them. we do have a law similar to the 15 year rule in canada though, except its 25 years.
insurance in the states is a pain. its classified under "exotic/sports", causing some peoples insurance to go upwards of 5-600 dollars a month.
You don't know NUFFIN about importing cars. Again, quit relying on ur 2 slow 2 mad buddies. Just don't cut it. talk talk talk. WAITING!!!

You got a link that proves this. I got the link there saying otherwise. I don't mean some ricers on a forum saying otherwise. PROOF. Until then I'm calling BS. Man, I need one of these, the big ones... better make it two.

if u were refering to my links at AF check this out http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t377227.html
call them ricers now

Also just recivd my email from motorex none yet from rb motoring.

"Dear Michael,

You stand correct in the statemnet that we still have the proprietary information on what need to be done to legalize the R32/R33 skyline. Rbmotoring is in the process of appealing to the NHSTA, USDOT, and EPA for there right to legalize skylines. If granted the permission they may be able to help more seeing as our legal issues at the current time."

Idk if u belive me now or not but thats the info i've gotten as from now on i'm not really going to miss around with that issue ne more. If u want to believe they are legalizing go ahead and belive i hope they do ge the rights to able to legalize. So we might not have to wait till 2014 after all. Good day to all.

HAHA. It's been imported through RB already. I don't care what some outta work folk are tellin you (or something you made up). And like I said, a forum doesn't mean nuffin. STILL waiting for proof. I'll be here and will be HAPPY to say I'm wrong. Just waiting tho.

The R32, R33, R34 are models years of the Nissan Skyline, if you look you'll notice that the R32 is the earliest produced, followed by the R33, then the R34. I'm sure the Skyline owners in this forum will be along shortly to give more info than you'll ever need about the changes, the difference between V-Spec and non-V-Spec, the differences between the GT-R and the GT-S, etc.

Of the GTR's the R32 is the first Skyline.
The very first Skyline dates back to 1969, and the first sportcoupe Skyline dates to 1972, and the first R is the R30 from 1980.

the first skyline was produced in 1962 dude. with the skyline 2000GTR being produced in 1973 (+/- a year, somewhere in that area).

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=109370 read that before you break yourself.

thats funny that you say i dont know anything, yet i seem to know a hell of a lot more than you. you might want to quit reading what kids on GT PLANET think they know on skylines. check some real forums, youll find exactly what im saying is information, laws, and actual facts. not rumors which alot of kids (including yourself) on here are pretty good at spreading.

Actually, YOU dont know NOTHING about importing cars in Canada cause you from the US. So I'll suggest to continue to play to GT4 cause he said the truth. You can actually import cars having more then 15 years. Just take a look at it: http://www.jns-imports.com/importinfo/index.html

So kid, see ya in GT4 :)

You don't NUFFIN. Canada sucks, ya'll should learn to read.

"Vehicles acquired in foreign countries other than the U.S. and designed, built, tested and certified to meet either all applicable Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards or all applicable United States Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and bearing a statement of compliance label affixed by the original manufacturer, as required by the Regulations, may be eligible for importation into Canada provided the vehicle has not been altered and the certification from the original manufacturer is maintained."

It's same as US basically, make it meet standards and it CAN be imported. However the standards have to be met by the manufacturer. It is possible to obtain manufacturer status atleast in the US. And it says it can meet US standards and be imported to Canada, so..... BOOM.

Now i think the thread needs to be closed, cause you kid just does not respect Canada. Actually, I think US sucks with his president 'George W. Bush' cause he think he can do the war to everybody because he got lots of power, but its off the subject... Just like you said that Canada sucks. So check yo mouth boy, if you dont want to be respectful about my country, I'll be non-respectful about you punk.

So please mods or admins, close this thread before it goes too far away.
Thank you !

DJ-CiviC
Exactly. R32, R33, R34 are models years. V-Spec, M-Spec, etc... I think its like the V-Tech, maybe a sort of technology of Nissan in the Skyline engines... And I'm sure that GT-R and GT-S means R for racing and S for Sport, just look at the difference between the 2 one.
V-Spec donates the best version (except for the Nur editions) and the GT-R is 4WD GTSor GT-t are RWD. GTS-25t (R33) is a slightly smaller displacement version.

I agree this should be closed as you guys are just having a useless and stupid slinging match. Both of you sound like idiots and the best thing would be to take it to PM where rest of us don't have to put up with it. :)

I'm sorry I shouldn't have posted that canadia sucks. I just didn't have the list of all Canada members. My bad. This thread has gotten way offf topic and either can be shut down. Otherwise, as far as what I posted, you can reach by PM. My bad.

You have no respect for Americans.

So I suggest you shut up.

Here let me quote what you said.

Yeah, so now, that's 2 things you've said against Americans.

I suggest you shut your mouth before calling someone a person with no respect for your country when you have none for his.

BTW, it seems hardly any of you can spell worth crap here either, so don't start telling Kermit to spell right.

I import Skyline GTR's to the UK. As far as I know there is only 1 official importer to the USA, however I believe if you are in the military services abroad you can import your own car legally to the states. We knew a chap that did this when he was in Germany (an American) he imported a car from Japan and took it back to the US with him. By the way someone put some post about supercharging an RB... ...sounds like b011ox to me me as I have never seen a supercharged RB, almost always turbo'd. Standard twins are good for about 1 bar boost - 400bhp ish, and there are single turbo's capable of flowing up to 1000bhp (T51 SPL), HKS even make a set of Garrett based turbos' (twins) called the GT3540's these will flow about 1350bhp!! There are a couple of cars in the UK running these. I have owned quite a few GTR's, R32's and R33's ranging from near standard to 650bhp, they are cool cars but nowhere near as good as a decent 3rd gen RX7 :)

Ant.

Can be done, has been done. Here's a balls out one...

I live in Southampton and I've got a friend that works at the docks, I've seen two charged R32's... There are a few about 👍

CalibreDan
What do you see just under the turbo's?
Yer, I thought wtf, thats twin turbos, then I saw the Supercharger and im like WTF???!! That thing must have an awesome torque curve, assuming the supercharger is for the lower ranges. Bet those twins kick it hard after 5K rpm though. I have this video of a mines Skylines, its crazy. The turbos must kick in at about 6000 rpm, because he'll change gear into about 5500 and then all of a sudden it hits 6K and then jumps to about 9Krpm, its crazy/.

Hmm IDK mang, ain't know way that's a real supercharger under dere. Something ain't right with this. Why would the supercharger be down t here instead over by the intake side? Something ain't ride. Doesn't even look like no typical supercharger. I think they boosted the transmission. Everyone always wants boosted trannys, you get better gas mileage. Gawd, I'm too hungover.

WTF are you on about, thats a supercharger. Hence its connected to the intake pipe and connected to the engine via a belt.

How is that even possible?

The car is either Turbo charged or Supercharged. Not both. :irked:

The car is either Turbo charged or Supercharged. Not both.

It's happened before.
There is a supercharged and turbocharged car right in GT4 -- the Lancia Delta S4.
There was also a Nissan March Super-Turbo in GT2.

Ah well. From what I heard, it wasn't possivle b/c the 2 did different things and didn't work together.

Hmm...maybe BMW should have done this with the M5.
