If you can't read the little thing about the Logitech Driving Force Pro, here is what is says...

"The Logitech Driving Force Pro steering wheel peripheral is designed specifically for Gran Turismo 4. This is the first force feedback wheel to feature 900 degrees of rotation. Up untill now, other wheels only featured 300 degrees or less. THe 10" wheel features a leather-textured rubber mold, an aluminum center hub, and a shift knob that was inspired by Italian performance cars. Te wheel also boasts paddle shifters on the back to simulate Formula-style racing. THe pedals are weighted and feature a unique carpet grip system that can withstand any amount of pressure you apply to the gas. Conversely, if you're playing on a hard surface, the base has no-slip pads. No price has been given yet, but it will ship on the same date as the game."

Wow!
I payed particular attention to the pit crews and crowd. I wonder if they made it up about the upgrade of them  . I don't care i just want the game now!

Awesome!! Thanks man!!
The game sounds simply incredible, all I need to know is when it's coming out!

Well over 500 cars, and over 50 tracks! :D :D

Yup.. as stated by me in several other posts.. 'over 500 cars' and that is with the garage crammed to capacity (DVD is full) and 50 tracks.. many of which can be played in reverse and in 'super sprint' kind of style.. NOT 100 brand new tracks as some had been 'wishing' for.

It really does seem that my sources are damn fine, as I seem to be posting stuff on here and then a week later it appears in a magazine.. I should be getting paid.. :D lmao

Considering that most magazines come out monthly, they cannot get news out as soon as it is released unlike websites where they can post it as soon as it is released

I aksed one of the guys at the local Game Stop (very good video game store) and he said that there would be 128 different models of cars. So I would expect lots of Skyline's and EVO's again. :(

A guy at a local video game store would already know what cars Sony has put in??? I don't think so...:)

How would a guy working at a Game Stop know anything about GT4 before we (GT fans) do? Why would Sony tell a Game Stop employee information like that?

Video game stores usually get the info before consumers ;)

They probably get a sheet mailed to the store with alot of info on it so they can have some information for people who ask them about it ;)

BTW: I'm probably going to reserve GT4 before the weekend! :D

I'm not going to ramble on and on about how I am excited about the new features, so all I will say is this: THIS GAME WILL BE AWESOME!

I'm assuming all the UK members reading this forum know GT4 is coming out on Boxing Day 2003. If not, well, you now know. What surprises me is that there's 3 times as many cars and 3 times as many tracks and yet they can still charge only £40 RRP or £30 from amazon, and by 'full DVD' does that mean they've got 3 times as much data still on one disc? WOW, Even I'm impressed!:)

No-one knows the official release date. Polyphony Digital probably don't even know the official release date so you cannot go round saying that it will come out on boxing day and about the full dvd thing, gt3 took up something like 3.5gb of a 4.7gb dvd so they have the rest of the space to fill up and if they still need more space they can use dual layered dvds

Well im not totally certain, but semi-reliable sources such as Amazon oh.. that's not a good example...well, most sources are saying either 24th Dec 2003 or 26th Dec 2003 i can't remember which, but that's for the UK version an I doubt we'll get it b4 2004.
