I preordered GT4 4 days ago, but I have to wait till March to be able to get it. I can't wait. anyone else preordered GT4 yet? if so post here and when it is coming out for your town.

you do realize when you preodder games from places that you wont get it the exact day it comes out right? it may not be the that same week depending on who you are getting it from....

And besides, its not like they're all gunna be gone. Only hardcore racing games/ GT fans know when its coming out..and theres only like 8 people here that even know what camber is. So its not a problem getting it around here...
i tried explaining that to my friend abot how places arent gonna run out but hes like yeah whatever i'm reserving mine for an exTRA ten $ what a rip off!
Most places are saying March 1 now (as opposed to January 6 which is what it was), but who knows. PD has a very, very bad habit of delaying GT games. Also, I went to Circuit City the day GT3 came out and they had a whole shelf of them. Where I live (lots of old people), I am guaranteed a copy the day it comes out

I preordered mine in June. I preordered not for the time of release, but for the price. By preordering I have locked the store into a deal, where I pay £32.99 for the game. Currently I suspect that it'll be coming on a pair of discs, meaning £45+. I save £12. Okay, so there's a possibility I might not get it until some way after the release date, but I'd rather have the cash, thanks.

To be honest I don't think you'd save any money by preordering since it looks like GT4 is one of them games every retailer is gonna try & beat each other on price (Still as you say you can garantee the price).
E.g. I bought GTA3 for PS2 on day of release for £31 (I think it was) where as some other places sold it at £40+ Much like Half Life 2 is advertised as £25 in many places, I very much doubt this will change upon eventual release since each company wants to sell as many as possible.
I've only ever pre-ordered one game, and I got it 2 days after release when it was promised it would be delivered on the day of release
