nicely done. not much of a focal point but it's different than most of the others.
 
ii was just trying to be different.....everyone else is focusing on the cars so i desided to focus on the track itself.......every single race held at the track has crossed that line, i figured it had some importance to it :p

Not only does it make the picture look sharper, it also makes it easier to look at. The original resolution is ridiculously oversized, sizing it down makes it easier to take the entire picture in. That's the way I see it, anyway.
 
I took this picture about 2 months ago, so I am not sure if it is Sarthe.

What irritates me is what is happening this week. We seriously need some change or more clear objectives.

Just like somebody said, I work hard on getting photography-wise near perfect pics, as best as I can but people that just hit Select every seconds with the Dive Display can come up with a "funny" picture and win the comp.

I think I have high quality pics, but I barely make it in the top 20 each week. 1 vote, 2 vote. I mean if I took a pic of a car going the wrong way and crashing I'd win? What the hell, anyway. I hope to see some changes.

Hey come on I put a lot of effort into my pictures too, not everyone does what your saying :irked:

thx 725. if i were you id use one of my hm's. just my opinion, but lately my opinion on my own pictures has kept me out of the top twenty.

Preach it brother, wake us up! I have been saying that since the start of these competitions! It's so hard to take in everything that is in the photo when you can only see half of it in proper resolution. But it you wanna see the eniter photo, it looks choppy and crappy! I always crop!
 
Man, all I have to say is that I think that little spat over in the polls really inspired people to put more effort into their pics, a lot of people have really nice shots this week. Great job so far everybody. 👍 👍

Hey, thanks for the concern but there is a thumbnail underneath the preview :). It might not be appearing for you, or are you confused by the fact it doesn't have one of those black bars along the bottom?

I love the cars and the course. This was/is a great theme!
 
Here is a little bit of info that may help when deciding if people are usingthe right Sarth circuit. Lights on = Sarthe 1. Lights off = Sarthe 2.
Anyhow, I'm torn between these three pics. I'll decide later.
