Gran Turismo Mobile is coming out in Jan. 2005, maybe that's what silviadrifter saw and thought it was normal GT4.

I have the mag right here and it doesn't say anything about the Mobile version. Moreso, it has a picture of the Ford Taurus at the Las Vegas drag strip in GT4 graphics. Those with the magazine can find it in the "Auto Erotica" feature (p. 42) where its being previewed along with Midnight Club III, NFSU2, Juiced, and Enthusia Pro Racing. I'd scan the article but I don't have a scanner.

Yamauchi stated that they plan to port the PS2 GT4 game engine into the PSP version. Furthermore, Yamauchi said the PS2 version of GT4 is currently 75% completed, the game will be released by the end of this year.

the SEPT. 2004 PLAYSTATION magazine (PAGE 81) says " it looks like GRAN TURISMO 4 is now on track for an early DECEMBER release, a time window that we are told is absolutely, positivily going to be stuck to"

I really hope this is incorrect but I just got the latest EGM in the mail the other day and it has a feature on all the upcoming racing games. I noted that it said GT4 will be released in January 2005. :(

sounds mighty like BS to me. I couldn't find any release date on any site that was important to me. They're all still saying the oct/nov divide. Don't totally ignore that comment, but for now, believe that its wrong.

EDIT: Ah. That's what it was. I just read the above posts.
Yeah that sounds understandable.
 
In the newest release list from Sony the release date our favourite game for (probably not only) this year is schelduled for Q$ 22004. Is does not say November though while a couple of other titles are scheduled for November ...

Let the guessing go on ...
 
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe - its Deutchland subsidiary - has released a official PAL release list for this year yesterday.

Gran Turismo 4 is been scheduled for Q4 (the 4th quarter) of 2004 release, without specified date. It is officialy signed as "with online gameplay".
 
If GT4 is released this Nov-Dec the TGS just may be where the explosive new info will be announced. Think about it, from late Sept theres only two months to go before KY promised it'll be on the shelves. I'm hopeing we'll get a n official track and car list.

But no, on a serious note, Q4 very often means november for game releases. December is too late for a lot of xmas pressies, October is too early because there is no significant occasion, 'cept maybe halloween. But what has that got to do with Gt4? nothing.

Doom 3 was timed on a Friday 13th, that was good timing. GT4 should be on a similar level. Whatever the best time is, they'll find it. Please let it be soon.....
 
Yeah, When I'm 22,016 in heaven i'll finally be playing GT4. Blimey, would there even be computer games then?

Oh yeah, and another point, if Gt4m is coming out in january, and the PSP isn't coming out until march, or possibly june, erm... Neone else notice sumthing rong wit th@?

Got a catalog of a big toystore in the Netherlands in this week. It stated that gt4 will be in their stores 27th of November. Check the attachment! :)

The box art isn't that good no, but they have to put something in the catalog.... Let's hope that they can deliver the 27th... I still think it will be January or February 2005 when GT4 comes out. I think the network play is a handfull for PD...
 
Novermber14 has been posted for about a month now, and it still isn't the official word.
