It is either an Iso Grifo or a Jensen Interceptor. They both have the vent behind the front wheels and the quad headlights in front. I however believe it is the Interceptor since that car is already in the game.

No, it's not either of those either. I have looked at both of those cars, and it's not the same.

I'll work on it some more.

Slip Angle 415
I saw both commercials during the ALCS game.

My bet?

Toyota 2000 GT.
No, but it still could be. I don't know what year it could be. So far, the Interceptor best fits it, but the car in the commercial has a small round signal light on the front right fender. It also has hideaway headlight, but they can still be seen. It also has a small square badge on the front hood. It also has a different hood scoop type buldge on the hood, but I have no idea what car it belongs to.

Okay, I found a place with two of the CMs up for download... but I don't know whose it is, so I don't want anyone to slam their site yet.

How would I work on getting a video up on GTPlanet? Hey Jordan, nice to see you again... little help please? ;)

I suppose everyone can decide for themselves, but it's clear to me that the car is not an Interceptor.

The above picture shows large wheel arch flares which the picture solid lifters linked to did not. Apart from that they look close.

Maybe the car in the pictures above has been modified.

Still searching for the right one, but I found some info about Iso Grifos. I think the car we're looking for could have been designed by Giovanni Bertone.

Or, maybe some guy named Dottore Bizzarrini. Here are some really cool links to go to, if you want to see what kind of cars we'll get in GT4 with Iso Grifo in the game.

This is a list of cars Giovanni Bertone worked on. Very impressive list. You should check it out.

It's one singular contineous shot of one car, so the "back" can't be a Corvette Stingray if the front if an Iso Grifo.

So im guessing GT4 has a few diffrent commercials.. The one I saw last night was definatly a 68-7? corvette...
Im in sac town!
maybe diffrent commercials for diffrent parts of the country?
but thoes wheels are a dead give away, they are "Ralley Wheels" made by Chevy

At GTX, the consensus is that the car is an Iso Grifo Series 2, slightly modified with fender flares and racing wheels.

It certainly fits the bill for me.

No hosting solution for the videos yet?

Dev, the photos of the Grey Iso Grifo and White/Blue Stingray are generic photos from the Internet... they're not photos taken from the commercial.

Ok let me update you fellow GTers on this so-called commercial. Personally I wouldn't call it a commercial, but what can I say. Anyways I was watching the Yankees vs. Red Sox game then I saw the commercial, which show a car taking off for just like 3 secs. I thought it was patetic, anyways that was the commercial I think it was a rally course don't really recall, but that doesn't matter the point is the commercial was pointless to me atleast. Then at the end of the quick 3 sec flick you see the slogan of GT4. That's it kitties. 👎

The commerical rocked. Then again, I drive a 2004 WRX so the commercial had a more personal impact for me. Now where are the frickin' downloads?

I agree with Gillet that it wasn't much of a "commercial" per se, and I don't really see much reason to get so worked up over the intricacies of a ten-second slow-mo shot of some car that's not even game footage. If it were a true commercial with new cars and tracks that we hadn't seen previously, that'd be one thing. But it's not. It's a moving version of the magazine ads, that's all. It's not something I'm going to watch a dozen times over like I do with the actual game trailers from E3 and TGS.

My only question is why they're advertising the game so early. Notice the ads had no release date attached.

For fans of GT that really don't know about GT4 that commercial would be very exciting and make them more curious to buy it. I have known about GT4 forever now and even I thought it was cool. They should definately have the GT logo up longer.

just put up the video and after people download it, someone will upload it to an ftp. Its the natural course of the internet.
