is there 2 versions of this car ?
 
Thats also a different car to the one in both GT4 and Forza, thats a shortail GTR and the second one with the same paint as in GT4 has different lights to the GT4 model and yes there are more tha one F1 GTR sponsored by Fina, not all come under the BMW license though. And Cobra, why do you have to insist on bashing Forza's graphics when thety are undeniably good, you know what if you squint at the GT4 pic it looks even more blurrey, whats good about that, anyone can post a pic of a car thats got some blurring done that hides imperfections too by the way. Your not doing this thread or yourself any favours because the moment T5-R, Code and others come here your getting flamed again but you just don't learn that sometimes it's best to quit regardless of how much you believe your right.
 
Wow..they are all totally different! Red mirrors/white mirrors, curved intake/flat intake, five spoke alloys..etc

What is going on? There must be more than one version of the car :confused:

Edit: ahh... the white mirror guy is the short tail!
 
I looked up the fina cars on yahoo and saw two. One that looked like GT4's and another that was a variation of that theme. No silverish one like forza had.
 
If you blur your eyes, and look at any forza pic, it looks like a drawing. Seriously, try it :P

If you blur your eyes and look at cobra's post it sorta looks like he should have given up a LONG time ago, it actually saddens me that someone could have such an inferiority complex I no longer beilive his posts are worth reading and i'm sure i'm not the only one who thinks this way :(

Forza's isn't silverish, it's the lighting in that pic, both paint job's are spot on for to cars with slightly different paint schemes.
 
There was actually two, one like in Forza and one like in GT4 the paint changed from the LeMans race to the GT series.

Well except for the central air intake, and the fact the word FINA on the side is the wrong way round. That should get a sacking that one! :)

Edit..oh dear...yes I can see now..whoops :dunce: other side of car fool...the shame!
 
FINA isn't the wrong way round on any pic. And Cobra you really need to stop carrying this on, if you get an unblurred pic of GT4 and put it next to that Forza pic you'l be able to see which looke better, the car model in Forza has all the right proportions like the one in GT4 only in Forza it's made of more poly's so it has better curves ect and hence it's a better model. If you don't like the textures or lighting fine thats your opinion but don't say the model isn' as good.
 
I can look at a vid and make my judgement thank you very much. But not to sound mean or anything but I guess the vids are too blurry to make a judgement on?
 
Ah, discussing the GTR longtails in both. I've already tried to explain the GTRs, and will just sit back and read what you guys type. If something catches my eye, I'll post.

As said by live, not all GTRs come under the BMW license.

EDIT: And I have FOUND OUT why. Fina is not the answer.
The Fina F1 GTR Short tail was not sponsored by the BMW of North America.
The Fina F1 GTR Long Tail however was. The BMW of North America claimed the rights to the car when they sponsored it along with the #43 car.
 
I want to see the mclaren road cars dammit! The race versions are cool and all, but the road versions are the ones that get me all antsy.

EA s contract should be up soon, so PD may have the chance for it. As soon as PD can get the McLaren license, they may feature the F1 GT. If this happens, GT5 could be the first racing game with an F1 GT.

I read somewhere Forza will have them apparently they paid EA big money for use of all there licences, Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari, McLaren :)

I'll try and find where I read this :)
 
Why does cobra feel the need to chip in with dumb ass comments, when clearly no on cares?

You would have thought that as a "serious" sim fan, he would be over joyed at the idea of another racing title to rival Gt. I certainly am.
 
Hmm Forza or GT4. THis is a no brainer. GT4!!!! For one Forza is on the X-box with that horrid thing they call a controller. 2) It's an X-box. 3) Way less cars in Forza. 4) GT series has been around a lot longer, they know what they're doing. 4) It's Freakin GT4!!!!!

Also, I thought GT couldn't have Lambo, ferrari, etc because they didn't want wrecking of their cars. So, how does Forza get them if they do have damage??
 
maybe because microsoft payed a crap load of money to get the rights? Dont bash forza.... There's no reason to attack the XBox. Do you own one yourself? I dont personally.
