Hmm Forza or GT4. THis is a no brainer. GT4!!!! For one Forza is on the X-box with that horrid thing they call a controller. 2) It's an X-box. 3) Way less cars in Forza. 4) GT series has been around a lot longer, they know what they're doing. 4) It's Freakin GT4!!!!!

Also, I thought GT couldn't have Lambo, ferrari, etc because they didn't want wrecking of their cars. So, how does Forza get them if they do have damage??

No one knows if Lamborghini is in the game or not. Plus, Forza has 3 damage modes.

Damage,
Small damage (just within visibility)
no damage.

And speedy, you're starting to sound like cobra.

The developers said it is possible to choose fully simulated damage, limited damage or only cosmetic damage.

Maybe the visual damage is the same for all three options.
It's how a collision affects the car handling that is different for
the three options

 Both my friend. There is no such thing as the best. GT4 will have things that Forza doesn't have and vice versa.

For one Forza is on the X-box with that horrid thing they call a controller. - Have you played the Xbox in the last 2 years or so. They have a new controller, that is much more compact and easier to use. No one really has the old POS anymore.

2) It's an X-box. - lol makes absolutely no sense. Xbox is awesome. As is the PS2.

3) Way less cars in Forza. - according to the ign and they're recent preview, there's going to be about 200 cars and they are customizable, so you can say that forza will have more cars cause no 2 cars will be identical. but yes as for the amount of makes and models, GT4 has more, but seriously, how many of those cars are you going to use often?

4) GT series has been around a lot longer, they know what they're doing. - Yeah they've been around longer, doesn't mean MS is filled with retards.

4) It's Freakin GT4!!!!! - It's Freakin FORZA!!!!!

Like i said, I think both games are going to be great, and I am going to own both.

I have to admit, having read the latest stuff about forza, my anticipation of it is equal to that of GT4.

*changes speedy_2's name to speedyGT* :dopey:

He actually cites the fact it's on the x-box as a negative, which instantly makes the whole post utter crap lol.

"I think zelda is crap, because it's on the Gamecube"

See?

lol well I gues it depends what you prefer, if forza and Gt4 are as good as I want them to be, I'd say they would be just as good. Theres just something about the word "PWNS" that I just can not take seriously :D PWN3D!!!!

yeh saying that is SAD.

Xbox has a quality games on xbox like halo 2, so it cant be all that bad of a console??.

but when choosing a console and the games GT4 and Forza. i would consider other good games on the console to like GTA:san andreas for PS2 and Halo2 for Xbox. to help in your decision

There's no way you would drive all of them but say your favourite car was an 1977 POS. Would forza have it? GT4 just has more variety.

Say your fave car was a Ferrari or a Porsche like MANY MANY people :)

I'd say Forza would appeal to more people due to it's exotic cars that we all dream of, I doubt many people dream of the 1977 POS I doubt that car is on any teenagers wall :)

so i'd say that Forza has the bigger mass appeal just a thought :dopey:

I wont buy Forza because I'll be too busy playing GT4. I only have enough time to play one anyway and i've been playing GT since the very first so it's GT4 all the way. plus i dont have a xbox so who gives a crap.

3D rims !!!

 that's one person, but as for a majority, Forza is trying to get in all the cars that the MAJORITY likes/wants. Yes there are exceptions to every rule.

The mass appeal of GT4 is the fact there are so many different types of car, not just the exotics.

Some muscle car fans will have no interest in Group B rally cars and vice versa.

It is the niche models that are dream cars to some, and totally unknown to others, that give GT4 its appeal. How many had heard of the Nissan Skyline/TVR etc. before the GT games? Now, thanks to the GT series, these cars are on the walls of teenagers around the world.

I think that is a real pic. Supercars.net is a car site.

It's fake... the car sticks out like a sore thumb, lighting is completely off with the environment. Come to think of it the background is a photoshop too, three segments pasted together with a TVR on top.

Many sites and magazines uses digital renders because the car was not available or not finished at the time. I have a top gear magazine with an article on the Chrystler ME 412 without any real pics. Autoweek also does this.
