GT4 WRS Week 28: "Danger: Curves Ahead"

Hello again everyone, welcome to Week 28 of the GT4 WRS! An ultra-lightweight corner carver at a tight, technical course is the assignment this week. Finding the best approach to multiple corners in sucession will be the key this time. Try different apexes to set up for the next corner as best you can. Good luck!​

Race Settings:​


Full Arcade Tune +20%HP, -10%kg (107 HP, 408 kg)
Tires - Sports (Any combination and compound)
Transmission - Driver's choice of AT or MT
Driving Aids - Driver's choice of TCS and ASM on or off

Rules:


Only discuss "T" times!

Clean OLR Standards:
Two Tires on track at all times!
Rumble strips are part of the track
No wall touching
No short cutting
No hybrids
No Cheating of any kind
Save your best "ghost" replay
Submit the time listed in replay file name

Time Verification:
-The top division 1 drivers each week will be required to submit with verification.
-All divisions of racers are subject to a request of time verification, however, this does not mean all racers will be required to submit verification for each race.
-Once a request for the verification of a time has been made the racer in question must comply.
-Any request of verification must addressed by the racer in question with in 3 days of the request. Arrangements must be made for the replay to be verified within a resonable time period, or the time in question will be removed from the WRS results and/or GTPlanet Times Database.

Deadline: Before Tuesday, October 25th, 8:00am CST
No times will be accepted after Tuesday 8:00am CST = Tuesday 1:00pm GMT

To be honest I have no idea if it has a T-time or not...:dopey:

Edit just checked and to be fair it was nearly 48hours ago :sly:

but still, the question remains do we have a "T" time to discuss?

I remember Week 104 was a no T time week, hosted by Kent, but that was because he choose that, Grand Valley had 3 T times.

Plus now we can talk a bit more about racing line's and even a track walkthrough.

Plus now me and Koly have a week off (not that i was doing much anyway :O :indiff: )

Nooooo!!!!!!!!! No more tuning, I suck at it as week 26 and I'm sure week 27 results will attest. This one's an equaliser...love it!

I've been driving the Genetta all week at another site, fun little thing.
 
hey i ran this track in the live race the other nite... and i ran this car... looks like a tight little combo, looks like a nice quiet week on the boards lol
 
Seems that the majority want to be sea-sick this week, and spend the whole week in 3rd too! :crazy:

That could be a good idea. Without knowing T-times I'm clueless of my pace and I'll be satisfied early on with a lap that will seem fast at first but completely off the pace in the end ( like the WRS Qualifier ) :(
 
Thank the lord! No more settings! I love arcade mode! Too bad I have to wait another uummm.....10 hours before I can race this one....I remember using this Ginetta for a race in the beginners area a TON of times to get some $$$. This is a great combo.

Oh No, the Genetta :crazy: A good car if it is tuned, but a piece o crap if not. Will take a driver to go fast this week from my experience with this thing.

Umm....... I think this thing is more like a rollerskate on ice...... but slower...lol

I will still have fun with this one though.....I think...maybe........well, sort of... probably...or not....yeah :)

Wait wait wait, so am I to understand that this track has NO T Times? Now that makes it interesting! I'll be on MSN a LOT this week then....*cough cough*.....lol.

don´t worry, zoky is in that "alien" class of drivers, he will do fine, and if he gtes beat, it will be by the usual suspects, like MR P always says...

Hm..is it allowed to cut that white line in the first chicane after the start?I think I got very close to it when preparing to make that first fast turn,not sure if I cut it though? :sick:
