I am possibly thinking about buying the 1969 GT40 and i would like to know if it is a good car

It sounds nice but it looks very poor graphically.
And performance wise, its maybe the worst classic Le mans car. The 2D, the Mark IV, the Ferrari, and the Jaguar can outperform the GT40. Also its free if you win the Indy 500 B-spec race.

Well it sounds awesome -I think it is a fun drive, it isn't as fast as more modern cars, so you may find it tough to use it - day to day- so to speak but youcan say the same thing about the Ferrari F1 cars.

The downside is the lack of a cockpit and Standard Quality Graphics - which are not issues if you drive Classic dials view and don't really watch replays to see the flaws but to wach the action.

A Photomode picture of a "Good move" could look less excellent when you see the car look a bit jagged in places.

I'd say get it as getting Kazula Credits is easy- but finding that GT40 will not be easy.

The Indy 500 B-Spec will give it to you for 20 Million less!

^ And the guy that just bought it has the "LM" Spec I version, with Gulf Livery.

Top speed it's better than the other classic Le Mans group (330, Jag, 2D)
It's main weakness is when the straight becomes a turn! God forbid a chicane
