From twitter:
Yes. RT @ddaann25: @Kaz_Yamauchi: Mr.yama update 1.11 scheduled for 29 august?

Further update from Kaz:
1.11 update is going to be around August 30. A day early or North America? Bug seems to be out of memory should have been eliminated. There are no additional features and content. Those additional updates will be doing in September or October. (Account of English, and made better).

SHIRAKAWA Akira did a proper translation, deleted at his request, you can view it in the Kazunori tweets thread.

Has also tweeted that this shall be for bug fixes and then (through a quick google translate) the next shall have features and content.

So expect nothing new from 1.11.

Also I the translation may not be entirely accurate so may be best to get a full translation from a human!

Thats what he has been saying for a while now. :)

"the next shall have features and constant"... constant what?

I'm glad to see an update, I'd just like to see them actually fix some of the problems with the game (the exagerated slipstream effect in online racing is on top of my list). If "features" is just more junk like suits and helmets, forget it.

Good bye perma-borrow MUAHAHAHHA!

Good point :D It'll be good to see that go. If it does :scared: *equips flame shield*

I'm still expecting some whining though as to why they didn't do add the features and content sooner. Of course the scale will depend on what the features and content actually are :indiff:

Damn auto correct, fixed it now, was content rather than constant.

One of the features will most likely be the Mid-Race Saving for the Enduros.

By the way, isn't this supposed to be in the "Kazunori Tweets!" thread?

Yes it was a tweet, but it is something that affects the entire GT5 community as such I thought this deserved its own thread.

Good point. At that point everyone will be able to relax in a hot tub with bubbles in it at long last. :D

And this is too important to not have its own thread :p

Lol, and I finally get to finish A-Spec :D And that's the only feature I could think of after 1.11 that would be significant. Highly, highly doubt it's free DLC, or anything for that matter. And for 1.11, it'll hopefully be for improving the networking infrastructure.

You're right about that (response to Jambo as well).

I hope it's not a quick save thing though like the one for the championship. That I don't like because it means you're stuck doing the endurance till you're finished it. It's why I still haven't bothered to do the FGT Championship even after the championship save patch. You can't do anything else after you've saved, just find better slots of time to do it in.

I finished it -- and got pole pos. -- way before the mid-race save was even 1st confirmed :p But anyways, Kaz must have some tricks in his sleeves to spend this long for the mid-race saving. However, there is a possibility that it's otherwise.

^ Indeed. Things like that just ruin the true fun of the game.

Looking forward to this update.

If that does happen, they may also removed any duped item. So don't be surprised if a bunch of stuff goes missing after the update.

I don't think that's possible. The car itself goes onto the save game itself, PD can't edit the save games through patching. The only way to get rid of a car from a garage through patching is by deleting the car all together from the game data, which clearly wouldn't be done by PD.

Also, it would probably cause a riot.

Also race rewards to be lowered and lap glitches axed.

Bet I seem like an old fart to some of you. :p

I don't agree with the race reward reduction :p But I do agree with lap glitches. And also track break-ins. Both aspects completely ruined the true vision of the game.
