In contrast to the disappointment thread. This thread is for you to show your satisfaction towards the update. I've yet to try out the update but so far reviews sounds great! Am particularly liking the sounds of the new physics and the interior for standarda albeit it's only silhouettes.

I'll be guessing that there will be more than one installment of DLC if this is the route they're taking.

So far so good. I think the standard car interiors are great for what they are, although they really could of be included from the base game. I can imagine alot of people who complain, don't realise the work that goes into modelling and skinning content. I feel sorry for the buggers who had to go through all 800 or so standard cars and put the interiors in, although most I can imagine were just camera placements :)

yea got to say I'm lovin it! massive improvemet to the resopnse you get from the wheel, AI has Improved in A-spec (although there is no option within a-spec) cock-pit view is also a nice addition. slipstream much milder on-line. only complaint is I'm in work all day so cant race the day away....

Very happy with everything - it's like getting the game on day one all over again 👍

I'll partly agree to this. 👍👎 halfway

It's more 👍, than 👎. Let's put it that way. The DLC, although great, was underwhelming. It's still great because no matter the quantity, I like the quality of it. I KNOW many will disagree, but I can strongly disagree with them.

Spa! That is all, the rest is gravy.

Im very happy indeed. Only managed to grab 20 mins play at lunchtime but hey.

Went for a ride in my Caterham on cockpit view round Nordschleife WOW!!!!!

I love the update, lots of cool new stuff. It's not a revolution but it surely a nice evolution of what we had so far.
About the DLC, the fact that Spa is in is truly awesome. The Kart track looks fun but a little bit too Mario Kart-like...
Concerning the cars, they took the easy way like we all suspected...
But globally, I'm satisfied with this DLC and I'll be buying the complete pack 👍

quick question as far as the 2.0 update goes
with the update comes the redbull x2011 prototype
does this replace the x2010 prototype, or is it purchasable, or do i have to get gold 3 times all over again to unlock it?(which i really dont want to do)

The X2011 comes with the DLC next week and I believe it will be a new car.
The X2010 will remain IMO.

I'm finding the multiple tunes option to be quite useful and wow, I really love the way the 2011 NASCAR cars look. Kaz's GT-R is great as well. I bought it as soon as I could. And the ability to change time/weather offline is another great addition.

But in all honestly, 2.0 is a 👍 and 👎 for me.

I am satisfied with the update, but only one flaw still bugs me.

The fact that they mentioned improved physics, I thought that they would have fixed the physics between online lounge and offline practice mode.
Even though you can put on tyrewear and fuel on during offline practice, it is still too easy to handle the car during offline.

A little test, take a stock M3 2004 on sports soft with a PP of 495.
When I say stock I mean no rear wing, and no diff and suspension settings.
Do a test first offline, and then do a test in your online lounge, and the track to test on is the High Speed Ring. Let me know if I'm insane...

yes, my mistake, it does come with the DLC
now comes another push of grinding to be able to get it....

Hello. I´m going to add my bit of love to the 2.0 patch.

I´m at work right now, but for what I´m reading, it´s a great improvement.

As for the DLC, I´m in love with Spa. The rest is nowere as good, but IT´s THE FIRST BATCH OF DLC ! Just wait a little longer, and we´re going to have a "hypercar pack" (dreaming, at least).

But what matters the most, is the update in the driving model. That´s what differences GranTurismo, and I´m eager to test it with mi DFGT at home.

I LOVE IT ALL! Except for the DLC release date.

Still very happy, the new physics are great and the AI I arcade is actually pretty good. In fact I just got the within 1 hundredth trophy!

Everything that they said would be in the patch, Is in the patch, i don't see how anyone can be disappointed. :)

Super happy! Physics feel amazing! Just had a blast @ the ring with one of my RUFs in the cockpit view. Rubbish, but AMAZING.

totally satisfied!!! love the fact that cockpit view is now available for standard cars, thats makes me use them now alot more! just like premium cars.

the physics update is great, i couldnt ask for more!

Spa is going to be legendary at night!

Thank you PD, keep up the great work!!!

The interior view for standard cars (Formula GT, 2J, other open cockpit) interiors are awesome. The Formula GT is a whole new car. Still a wonderful pain in the ass to drive, but wheel to wheel is so much more fun. Blacked out regular interiors is a little lame, but acceptable.

FF/REW on replays is nice (my #1-#2 request), but totally half assed, and only on replays after Spec 2.

Haven't tried a Endurance save yet. Do they force you to go back to the endurance, or can you play other stuff in the game with the race saved?

DLC is a great addition and Spa is my #1 request for a new track, but basically 1 for $5 is tough to swallow. Nearly 10% of original purchase for 1 track, an awesome track, but still just 1 (cart track, really). I'll keep paying for tracks if they include a few good ones. I think only Spa will get away with being basically $5.

Haven't noticed new physics too much.
