Does anyone knows if there is and if it is when can we expect a 3.0 update since we have already the 2.9?

I'll check... I'm not really sure about the current version. - Though, I don't think PD will publish, if they've even made, Spec III, before next year, maybe in March or something. - Though, that is just my personal opinion. We might get it as a "christmas gift", we might get it later next year or we might not get it at all - it's PDs choice, and we can't, of course, force them, to publish anything.

Edit: The current version is 2.09.63198802, so yes, we're at version 2.09.

Read the news section, everything is posted there pretty soon after it's known. Nobody is going to enter a thread like this and know the answer.

Yet threads like these are made day after day.

People never learn that all this speculating gets us nowhere. Like when the Corvette C7 was discovered in game, that thread was full of speculation, then PD released as a DLC and the speculation continues, but it's been somewhat annoying seeing so many people talk about Spec 3.0 like it's just around the corner, when nobody even knows.

Send an email to PD or Sony if you want an answer to this question, GTPlanet is a separate entity from PD and Sony so will not be able to provide definitive answers over something speculative like this. Or what GT6 is going to be like, or when the next DLC will be released.

I'd rather be happily surprised when something gets updated or something new happens than sitting wondering when the next big thing will appear. It saves time on my part which I can spend playing the game.
