I can guarantee a world wide release. Japan, Europe and US will, I can guarantee, be getting the game.

Simultaneously? Now that's a whole different ball game. Still a possibility if Kaz is to be believed when he says that all versions will be finished at the same time.

I actually really like the new PS3 font/logo - it's what it should have been from the start (way more recognisable), not that unoriginal spiderman font.

It's on the US site now and apart from the obvious different rating icon the US gets the same.

I don't like the box art (maybe because I don't like the car) but anyway I don't care much about it. It's the game that matters and seeing the box art makes me realize that the release date may be sooner than I tought. Before I was expecting 3 months after Japan, but now I'm hoping simultaneous with Japan or maybe 1 month later.

(I'm talking EU, rated already. I see the US box still displays rating as "pending" so things may be more advanced here)

A head on shot of the italia lurking out of the shadows. That would have been nice. Kinda suprised they went with the merc, but ah well. It looks nice enough, no complaints. They could have just put the gt logo with nothing else and it wouldn't matter to me once that disc is in my ps3...:sly:

Normally they carry the RP label until right before release. I don't know why this is exactly.
 
The pic doesn't have the usual PD/Sony stamping on the bottom so I'm wondering if its from a video. Don't remember seeing that in the AMG reveal video though.

Any guesses?

Boaxarts usually get released 2-3 months before release and the PEGI rating is also a good indication that it isnt too far away in Europe.

Whatever you say ;) I just went to that old thread to check, and while I found your cover, I could not find anything about you stating the intention of image and what it represented. Hindsight eh?!
 
When will PD drop the bomb that will blow us away? The information has started to gather pace and hopefully we will get something like the 'reveal' trailer for MW2 which completely surprised the COD fans.
