GT5 Dealership not working

For some reason the dealership gets stuck in loading when i try to select a specific manufacturer (this is not the case for used cars)
Anyone else having this problem?

I don't know whether this helps, but I was playing with my controller plugged in and the game didn't work. Unplugged it and played wirelessly and the menus work again.

Dunno whether that was just me or not.

Thanks for the input but i´m using a steering wheel which does not have the option to play wireless.

Tried disconnecting your PS3 from the internet.

Yep, not logged on

the only thing i havent deleted is the Game data with the DLC cars in it, because i don't want to loose them.

I had some of those issues too. But after reading the Gt5 press release i understood why. Gt5 needs a server contact to proceed (somehow) so if the system,line(yours or theirs) are conjested, the screen will just "stop".

I do not have that problem any more..

hmmm, but the thing is, the game was working fine untill i did the Patch download, and chromeline packand the Actuall install from disc to system...

Fixed now :-) Problem was in the game data, after finding out you don't lose DLC i was game enough to delete it...still a worrying problem.

my dealer ship is doing the same thing! after I finished the gt5 cup (or whatever it's called.., its the one where you get the end credits as a bonus) and whenever I go into the dealership it says I have 0 access to any cars. when I enter a company (like ford) it keeps loading forever. I have to restart my ps3 every time just to get out of the screen. I just recently connected to the internet after playing for a couple days (got to level 14 before ever downloading updates) and played a game or two online before I noticed this. Is it a error? a glitch or a hack? I've restated my game a million times, I've connected and disconnected the internet, I've even done the controller thing and nothing works!

Well, I'm having the same problem here... bought the game on christmas, played for a while in Arcade Mode, then I updated and installed the game. At this point, I started to play the GT Mode, and got this annoying bug...

Do I have to delete my "Game Data Utility" to solve this? Will I lose my cars and stuff? I'm at lvl 11 right now, and I don't want to lose my game progress...

Ok, problem solved. I deleted the GT5 "Game Data Utility", updated to 1.05 again, and the menu is working.

I didn't install the game on PS3 hard disk. I think maybe this is what make the problem occur...

Also, I didn't lose any game progress.
