hey me too, just wanted it to post:

"Gran Turismo 5 (compatible 3D) - �dition signature"
Date d'arrivée prévue : décembre 09 2010 - décembre 10 2010"

Mind you, amazon.fr was the first store announcing the signature edition, and the several ps3 collection, (POP, ICO,...)
But it is still an estimate.

@*ibo* S3 Racer: That's i've got in mind. But since the delay, french amazon was quite carefull with only one update last week to the 8th and now the 9th. It's quite precise for an estimation... crossing fingers!
 
It looks like French Amazon are getting GT5 sooner than UK Amazon - I got this email this morning..

"Hello,

We regret to inform you that the following items have been delayed as we are still awaiting stock from our suppliers :

"Gran Turismo 5 (PS3)"
Estimated arrival date: December 17 2010

One of Amazon's aims is to provide a convenient and efficient service; in this case, we have fallen short. Please accept our sincere apologies."

I guess this proves that both dates are just plucked from thin air and not based on any kind of fact!

Back to keeping my fingers crossed and not holding my breath. :grumpy:
 
The official Gran Turismo sites say:
  • US - Holiday 2010
  • EU - November 2010
  • JP - 2010
  • HK - Not listed

EDIT: The lack of knowledge is killing me! :scared:
 
It's very obvious this game is NOT gonna come this year. I think it's a fact now. Forget it this christmass, aim for a summer 2011 release instead.. Sorry :(
 
Does anyone have a proper translation of the first section of that article? Going by a Google translation it seems like they're assuming that the supposed December 14th conference will be about GT5. It seems incredibly unlikely that Sony would sit on the date for that long. Especially now that we know that the game has gone gold.

Yes, and if they are going to have a conference about the game in december they will NOT release it this year. I think what Sony does to us, is very low cause it's we that give them their ****ing money.

Iam starting to get tired of this.
 
Expects, means nothing. Have Sony officially released info since they expected to at the end of October?

Like I said, they seem to be assuming that the conference is about GT5. The thing is that Sony doesn't schedule conferences for single games. That's not their style. As far as I know they've never done anything like that before. That conference, if it actually exists, probably isn't even about GT5. It's probably just about the company in general.
 
We'll hear way before December. If they are already pressing games, it won't take long for them to have a "delivery" date.

The article is making all kinds of leaps and assumptions with no facts, sources or evidence to back it up.

I don't mean to be rude, but I doubt Sony is going to make this announcement through a relatively unknown magazine that seems to be an Italian version of People Magazine.
 
How many sources to confirm discs being pressed?

Not trying to be a party pooper but even after Sony's clarification on the standard and premium issue all it caused was more confusion.

Did Kaz mean a single gold disc was being made as we speak to signify gold status. Or that a full production run has started?

Are our only sources Jalopnik.
Events have shown not to get hopes up.

Oh sorry, has anyone noticed how super the realtime lighting is in GT5, simply wonderful.

Is that more appropriate Aaron. ( in the delayed thread ).
