I don't think it's legit.

One thing that stands out from the photo is there isn't a ESRB rating stamp on the game.

That there makes me think this isn't legit.

I've never seen a disc from Australia,but doesn't every disc require to have a ESRB rating stamp no matter what the country?

ESRB is only in North America. It has a G stamp.

They've got a different system overseas. On this disc, it might be PEGI or something. THe logo is the G in the green triangle.

Agreed, that is the only reason why it looks fake to me. I mean its just a random wheel.

Yeah and I'll get my game in the mail from Amazon, stare at it and come on here to post a topic about the joke Amazon played on me. Then someone will tell me to put the game in my ps3 and see if it's still fake. Then I won't be heard from for a few days. Maybe weeks. Then I'll come back and post "lol can't believe it's real. It's everything I wanted. I don't care if GT6 never comes out, this is all I'll need for however long I have left on earth" and all will be right with the world.

I hope they do release it the same week as NFS:HP3. It would make for an interesting (showdown) experiment. Obviously the bulk of NFS sales will go to the other console.

This is the biggest franchise PlayStation has. It has stood the test of time without churning out a yearly game.

Given that the photo has been yanked from the News article (and comments closed there), it appears that the disc was genuine.

While Sony itself is remaining silent, apparently (and only apparently, these are single source references) Sony reps are talking up a storm.

When contacted by NowGamer, Sony's Al de Leon confirmed that more lucid details is coming soon.
