GT5 Freezes PS3

Hi,

ever since I downloaded the 1.09 patch, GT5 as just kept on freezing and I can't do anything except manually turn it off.

The PS3 functions fine, plays blu-ray, all other games etc.

Help!

I had this problem, was a nightmare, phoned the PS3 support etc etc, they just advised me to start again.

This is what I did to get it working again,

Firstly deleted all of the updates, and game data, and ran it from the disk didn't work.

Then backed up game save data, then put it back on the PS3, still didn't work.

I then formatted the HDD on the PS3, back to factory defaults after backing game save data for all games up and it worked. I haven't re-installed the game on the HDD, i'm just running it from the disk.

Re-installed the updates and it worked. I did all this, as I really didn't want to get to level 30 again!!!

You're not alone, because I have had the same problems. Sometimes when I look at a car in the UCD....the music stops and it just keeps saying its loading. Now if you sign out of PSN and do the same thing it works fine. Also, sometimes it does it in the menu, unless you sign out of PSN, then it works fine. I hope that helped.......

Same here I just restart the game it's the only thing for it lol

I get this, especially in the UCD. It spawns half the skeleton of the car in a neon lime, then won't do anything else.

If this strikes during an endurance race, I'll consider it an issue.
