Nice.. I was thinking about doing something similar for iPhone/iOS. I'll definitely give it a whirl on my HTC Legend.

Thanks!

Cool stuff. Keep it going guys.
If PD implements the online management of B-spec and that will be in an app, that would be great.
I can manage BOB from my iphone. :D

cool application!you should publish it on the market!
working perfectly on my moto milestone -european version of the droid- on froyo (cm6.1)

Just installed this on my Moto Droid 1 and it works perfectly. Clean and fast.
Well done and merci, monsieur.

App starts but as soon as I click on any tabs at the top it force closes. I think it might not be connected to the database (which I now have successfully installed on SD card). I'm running 2.2 on HTC Desire.

I'm tech dumb. I have an HTC Desire, how do I get this onto my phone?

Great app. Works perfect on HTC Desire running 2.2. I can't get it to work on my Samsung Galaxy though but its a rubbish phone anyway and only reason I have it is for work. First screen loads then if you click anything it force closes.

Only problem is I don't know French at all so not got a clue what some of the words on the app are. But I can work away with it and make sense of it :-) You should publish it to the marketplace.

Edit

For those that don't know what to do. Connect your phone to your PC in "Disk Drive" mode. Download both the files from the OP. Copy them both to the root of the SD card (not sure if they can go in a folder or not but I put them on the root). Dismount. Download a file manager from the marketplace (I used Astro File Manager) and navigate to the SD card, open up the one named "GT5 Guide" and then you get an "Install" option. Rest is straight forward :)

If it give you get an error trying to install it means you have 3rd party (non marketplace) apps blocked from installing. To fix (on Desire) press Menu, Settings, Applications and then where it says "Unknown Sources" make sure it is ticket (green).

Is this the list of files that appears first, after I click on "Removable Disk: J (My phone, in other words)" from "Computer" in the Windows 7 menu bar?

You need to understand that I really am STUPID when it comes to stuff like this. You have to totally dumb it down for me. Then once you've done that; dumb it down some more.

Thats it.

Once you connect the phone it will mount a new drive. Open up the drive you get and it is your SD card. The first place it takes you to where all the other folders are is the root.

You can also remove the SD card and do it that way but if its a Desire you have then it means taking the battery out which is a major pain in the back end.
And as for the file manager, once you open it you will be at the root of the SD card by default. So just scroll down until you find it.

Merci pour l'application. Fonctionne nickel sur Motorola Dext en 2.1 :-)

Thanks for the application. It works well on my Motorola Cliq 2.1.

It was for the french dev ^^

Very cool app.
It runs nearly perfect on my HTC NexusOne.

But if I want to choose "epreuves" (I hope you know what I mean ;-) ) the app crashes!
And I often got some strange numbers "@123456...", what does it mean?

Is it possible to delete cars from my garage?
Where I can find my export of the garage?

Thanks for your work...you did a great job.
Perhaps you will get more features in this app...would be very nice!!!!

do you have the last version (1.12) ? And for the database too ?

Epreuves = Events

You can delete a car from garage, you must do a long click on a car in the garage, and a menu popup.
For export, in the garage, Menu and Export Garage. It create a txt file on SDCard.

Yes...you're right.
Now it works fine!
You should add it to the Android Market and inculde the whole database to the app.
So everybody can update to the newest version.
And everybody will notice that there is an update.

Keep on working!!!

It would be cool if somehow you can view the B-spec Live Timing info in real time. Or be able to input what car your B-spec is using and be alerted to when the race is coming to a close...all while being able to pick an even and be able to see how many times you have to repeat the race to get to the next level.
How about being able to see what upgrades are available to any car while seeing how much credits it will cost.
