Planes would be a good idea, but only as eye candy.
Maybe for instance at the Top Gear Test Track (lotta 'T's), you could have small planes on the side taking off and taxiing.
This is reminding me of NFSU2 and it's Airport Drag strip :lol:

Planes will be on the Top Gear TT but only sitting on the runway in the distance.

anyone who plays il2 sturmovik im willing to play but i havent been on lately as im addicted to Call of duty classic (nothing like retro) and im trying to complete a career with 100% race distance on F1 CE before F1 2010. And any news Trk as i havent got my pc working and ps3 crashes on il2 forum.
on topic I think the planes are purely for show PD do a good car sim but i cant see them doing a good flight sim.

Yeah :lol:, only after a 5 year delay at the airport!

I just thought of a great idea which PD could do, model a flyable helicopter to go over the courses whilst viewing a replay or watching an online race. They could easily do the physics for one model type (go and dig up the PD 'flying game engine' from Omega Boost Kaz! :lol:) and then you could take excellent video or pictures.

Remember the GT4P intro vid with the Helicopter darting all over the Grand Canyon following the race, how cool would it be to fly it!
